Knives are dangerous, bleeding control is critical, and watch your back
⚠️ WARNING: ⚠️ This is graphic. A man named David Yu told me his brother William was stabbed more than 10-times by who he believes is a homeless man in LA’s Chinatown Wednesday.
“He was in the fight for his life.”
A bystander took the following video… (1/3) #LosAngeles pic.twitter.com/mmnqeBpRTB

…showing the two men wrestling on the ground.
An arrest was made and our sister station in Los Angeles is working on learning more.
David does not believe this was a racially motivated attack. Instead he thinks this shows the problems of LA’s homeless situation. (2/3) pic.twitter.com/RTdFFx1Prw

David set up a @gofundme.
Note: I usually do not cover LA News since I’m in the Bay Area but am helping our sister station since William’s brother reached out. More soon. https://t.co/8CDplRESBj pic.twitter.com/YK0wqU8ygB

That’s gruesome.
Randomly attacked by a man with a knife and will require a lot of stitches to keep what should be inside, inside.
Deep cuts damage nerves and muscles underneath.
Facial lacerations are notorious for causing paralysis.
When approached by someone with a knife, or appears dangerous in general, distance is your friend.
Stay safe out there.
