I did not realize how many of the people that made the Babylon 5 project a reality have been taken by the Soul Hunter. The 20th year reunion happened yesterday I think and here is a video they played in remembrance of those gone beyond The Rim.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. Wow. I’m kind of in shock. First off, it’s hard to wrap my head around it being 20 years; second, it’s hard to go through that and see so many familiar faces gone.

Coincidentally the friend who introduced me to the series, and several years younger than me, died in the last few years.

    1. I did not know Zathras (Tim Choate) was dead. I usually quote him when the wife asks me to do things around the house or just for fun. I felt like suddenly finding out a friend was gone forever.

  2. Babylon 5…wow.

I mean, I had watched snippets of it when I was younger, and I’m trying to make time to add it into my normal viewing rotation, but it was shows like B5 that really set my imagination ablaze.

Nowadays people are willing to be amused by petty things, like some crap on MTV or something.

Babylon 5 to me was one of the last few great shows on American television. It’s a pity that, every season brings about some great Anime from Japan, or some new series of Doctor Who from the UK yet here in the US very few shows can top that kind of entertainment.

I dunno, it might just be me.

    1. I own all 5 seasons, the movies and the first and only season of the follow up..Crusade…which had it not been for fucking FOX…would probably have gone another 4years like the original. Why was Crusade canceled? because people [despite what fox said] WERE tuning in for the Series….but then they were not staying around for the shows after. Nor in many cases were they bothering to show up for the shows on before it.

  3. The wife and I just finished up rewatching the series a few months ago. Had no idea how long it had been since it originally aired but I did know how many of the cast members that have gone beyond. What did surprise me was the info on why Michael Ohare (Sinclair) left the show.
