I have to admit, I am not certain how to properly react if confronted by an officer of the Covid Shame Police like her. Politics aside, we still have to conduct ourselves under the “Don’t Play Stupid Games” directives which sort of limits the kind of response on our part that she may deserve.

But one thing is clear: They do not feel constricted by basic social rules or even basic politeness, and that means the transition to more direct ways to try to convince you are possible future behaviors in people like her.

How many times have you read and heard “If you don’t wear a mask, you will kill grandma” or words to that effect? Do you think minds like hers will not make the jump to use violence because they feel they are defending themselves from you? “You are not wearing a mask! You are transmitting a deadly disease to me! I must kill you in self defense!”

I predict we will see at least one case like this in the not-so-far future.

  1. As of now, I treat them like children who aren’t mine throwing a temper tantrum. Walk around em and pay zero attention.

Cuz in the end, they *are* children who aren’t mine.

  2. Well, she only got 55 seconds of hate instead of her required 3 minutes. Guess she’ll need to double back.

Seriously, for those people there must be something cathartic about it. For me, to get that angry, I would simmer and stew for days/months/years. There’s nothing cathartic about it.

  3. I still keep in touch with friends from high school. One of them has drifted far left. About once a year we grab a bite out for old times sake, and i ask myself afterwards why i do it.

They wanted to drop in recently as they were travelling past the town where i live. I said sure, but then they demanded that the family and me all wear masks in our own home during the visit to protect them.

I refused and they gave me the whole need to protect them story. I pointed out that for most people our age its lethality is under 0.002%; then they started in on its worse for people like them.

I couldn’t help it, i told them i refused wear a face diaper because their bad life choices made them a high risk, if they lost the 300lbs of extra weight then maybe they wouldn’t have breathing issues, be diabetic. After some screeching they hung up.

That was 2 weeks ago and they never dropped in or called. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my life. Seriously, I’m done dealing with stupid people,. We were friends in high school, and I realized the only reason I kept in touch with them was a sense of nastalgia.

  4. How to react? I recommend dropping your trousers and displaying your backside to them.

As to the inevitable violence, you are correct. It is coming for exactly the reason you state. I can only hope, when it does happen, the person defending themselves waits until the attack reaches a level that justifies use of deadly force before responding. Anything less will be vilified.

nted but unsurprised that this happened in Bend, I am willing to bet this lovely specimen came from California or Portland. She’s not very original since the only words I could make out were F*** variants. Since she? claims to be a teacher perhaps a discussion of how many germs a shouting person spews and a critique of grammar in vocabulary are in order.
I think organized protesters should carry gymnastics style score cards to rate rants and flounces.

  6. You can bet that ANYONE on the right defending themselves against the self-anointed will be demonized in the press, regardless of the righteousness of their defending themselves. And Soros’ DA minions will attack with “the process is the penalty”.

  7. I am now in trouble with my Synagogue because I posted a letter to our local conservative site calling out one of our own on the Board of Health. (This was in follow-up to a letter I’d sent to her at the Board of Health – a letter that had multiple references in footnotes with no reply.)

Rather than having the stones to confront me, counter me, debate me, she went running to our Rabbi. Now I have a “conversation” to be had with our president.
