I forgot who said Antis are a bunch of humorless people, but he/she couldn’t be any more right. How can they live with themselves? Do they even have a family? If I constantly were that pissed-off/humorless/scared/whinny, SWMBO would have left for greener pastures long ago and I’d have a pile of clothes to launder piling up in the living room.
You cannot be living in that constant state of mental poison and sharing it without killing your soul. Maybe that is why our numbers keep growing: we offer a chance and a bit of fun. Who has not taken somebody to the range for the first time and see them smile after they get some rounds on paper?
One more reason why we win.
Here in my part of Texas,Dallas-Ft.Worth, even the “Lib`s” are getting their CHL`s. They still refuse to see what obama is doing to our Country but are arming themselves. 🙁

She once made a statement: that she hoped if anyone ever broke into her home thay would kill her quickly, and not make her suffer. I replied but you should fight back, and she replied she couldn’t possibly hurt another person, and would rather die.

Forgot to include that a younger neighbor came by,long story short, I`ll take him to my Club to watch an IDPA Match and promised he`d get “Hooked”. One small step toward a new NRA Member and away from the left ! 🙂

I just did a couple entries on the anti CSGV page. Man, them anti 2nd amendment people are certifiable.
Let me get this straight. If I own some sort of black rifle because of concern over possible future events, I’m a paranoid loon dominated by fear… but if I turn in a 100 year old .22lr rifle to a police buy back because they are afraid the Eeeee-vil gun radiation from that rifle may cause them to do something bad, they are a perfectly rational individual… is that what they are saying?
I notice the narrow-minded bigots at CSGV are beating the everloving crap out of that “paranoid” drum these days… I am forced to assume that they honestly believe that societies never collapse, that crime never happens to anyone, that you will never have any need to defend yourself or your family from a predator (two-legged or four), and that countless other things that have happened with frightening regularity in the past will never, ever happen again.
And people wonder why I have such a hard time taking anti-rights cultists seriously – they obviously live in a dream world with no real connection to ours.
I hope I look that good after the apocalypse, too. I’d look a helluva lot better standing in front of my family with one of those than I would taking the antis’ advice and cowering behind furniture.
Hell, I’d look better at the gun range with any type of firearm than I would at the anti-gun range armed with nothing but a frowny-face. Nicer people there, too.
