  1. The guy UNDER the silver car had the right idea.
I was also amazed at the guy in the white hat being so calm during and after. Other than getting out of the line of fire he seemed more interested in enjoying the show than anything else. And after it was all over he just sauntered along…..

      1. Almost every gas station sells beer and smokes. Profit margins on gas are almost non-existant, margins on beer and cigs are mediocre, but they keep people coming in and buy other stuff. Coffee and fountain pop, those are the real money makers… 5¢ of water, 1/10¢ of syrup, and a 10¢ cup, that a customer will pay $1.79 for? Hell yes.

But, here’s the important thing: gas stations and liquor stores really aren’t robbed all that often. Oh, sure, you’ll see one or two a month in any given metropolitan area… out of hundreds upon hundreds. There’s something like 200,000 gas stations in the U.S. and god knows how many convenience stores, liquor stores, bodegas, and the like.

99.999% of which aren’t getting robbed tonight.

  2. That employee did a good job saving that guy’s life, yanking him down and dragging him one row back. Good on her.

There’s a reason most convenience stores don’t like people loitering out front.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
