      1. I was making a pun on the pair/pear homophone, and the fact that pears and kiwis are both fruit, and I decided to throw in a nod to the fact that New Zealanders also got the nickname, “kiwis.”

         The number of heads that the joke appears to have flown over disappoints me. I would have expected this from MDA, not here.
