“Law enforcement society cannot work and, quite frankly, law enforcement cannot do its job if it does not have a trusting relationship with the community,” Gillum said.
“At the time that a law enforcement official has to go to a weapon, to a gun, to a baton, to a Taser,” then they’ve already gone “too far by their very presence,” he added, according to The Beacon.

Andrew Gillum: Police ‘going too far’ if they pull out gun, baton or stun gun.

If I were  a suspicious man (and I am) I’d say that Gillum was to repeat at State level what he has done in Tallahassee and other mayors have done in places like St. Louis and Baltimore: Hobble the police, watch crime rise and then demand to come down on freedom and rights like the Second Amendment.

We cannot have this guy a governor. Go effing vote if you have not.

    1. It’s worse than that. He said they’ve gone too far BY THEIR VERY PRESENCE. Apparently if the police went away, there would be no violence.

      1. This is a part of the black power movement. For example, the New Black Panther party desires the complete elimination of police in black neighborhoods, to be replaced by “Black self defense groups” as well as the removal of all authority of the “white man’s court” over the black race, replacing them with “people’s tribunals”
Read their racist diatribe for yourself.

  1. If Floridians elect this communist rat Gillum to the governorship and he succeeds in a compliant legislature establishing a ban and confiscation of Black rifles and any magazine over 10 rnds are there any Floridians here that would pull up stakes and leave Florida for friendlier states instead of obedient compliance to communist gun laws ?
I’m considering leaving Florida for the US Redoubt Region or Nothern Arizona. Any Floridians out there with similar ideas ?

We are a family of 4th generation of Floridians having first arrived in the 1930’s. But we will not live under a communist like Gillum.
