So there is this group, Phoenix John Brown Gun Club who touts to be an armed Left Wing “Working to stem the tide of reactionary recruitment within white working class communities, fight white supremacy, & build liberatory community defense.”
OK, kinda contradictory if you are fighting White Supremacy and you are white and carrying an “assault weapon” because kinda contradicts the tenets of the Left in America. So let me dig a bit deeper on what they stand for:
OK, cool. I can dig that you feel those groups need to be defended. Call me crazy but, wouldn’t the application of the Second Amendment be more effective? I mean, it stands to reason that if those “abused” groups were armed, it would be kinda difficult for anybody to abuse them, right? I know, it is a revolutionary concept for the Left, but this is the revolution or am I mistake with the concept?
Is there anything else about this group?

Hmmm, we have what seems to be an attack of white guilt.

And that is the paragraph with all the info you need to know: They were threatening a “journalist” with destruction of property and possibly more. And although you know my contempt for the latest generation of journos, the point of not respecting the First Amendment and its basic applications means that they do not respect or understand the Bill of Rights as a whole and that the carrying of weapons is at best decoration and at worse intimidation. Do they have the balls to and actually kill political opponents? I doubt it, but at the same time I have experienced how fast people not only adapt to killing but come to enjoy it.

PS: And this is also for those on our side who think the Left will magically shed their notions once they buy a gun because somehow and magically it will make them understand what the Second Amendment and the Bill of Right means.

I’m curious who they are going to be defending their communities from. I don’t mean who they think (evil white hill folk) but who they will actually be trying to defend their community from. So far, the only people who are acting out violently is their side (leftists, progs, commies, etc.).
Unless of course they plan on mobilizing and taking the fight to the evil white folks in the hills, and by evil white folks, I mean conservatives or anyone who doesn’t agree with them. I’d be willing to bet most of these mentally ill pinkos probably have played video games, and other than a week or two of firearm familiarization, have no experience shooting.

Mark, I think the New Black Panther group described in the link you provided will be the norm while “rainbow” groups like the Phoenix John Brown Gun Club in Miguel’s post will be the exception. Simply due to the dynamics of this societal push to establish minority groups that are very narrow in their identity.
I liken this phenomena to the side plot of the Monty Python movie, “Life of Brian” one group fighting Roman oppression in that fictional story line set 2000 years ago identified as the Peoples Front of Judea while their arch enemies were known as the Popular Peoples front of Judea; both working to free their land of the Roman occupation but were ineffective in this goal as they were too busy fighting against each other. We are already witnessing this type of infighting as the National GLBT front stands against the Pink Pistols, The Feminists discriminate against any feminists that happen to be for the rights of all women including the unborn, as well as numerous other examples of a minority being divided against itself along narrow idealogical lines. Not to mention the immense anti gun coalition that obviously stands against these armed minority groups.
The supposed powers that be–standing in the shadows–are pitting each of identity minorities against the other so as to conquer all.
Yes, a lot of these political action groups concerned about their rights conveniently ignore the right of self-defense. I’m not sure what they expect to happen in a fight – the cops aren’t gonna roll in five seconds later.
Miguel: once again I only offer my opinion, but I have to wonder if these hopelessly naive people who seem to dream of a future Marxist/socialist state–perhaps one on a global scale–are not in reality unwilling pawns of some unknown cabal of power hungry oligarchs who perceive Western culture and democracy to be a hindrance to their goal of creating a controlled society not unlike that or at least similar to what was described by Orwell, Huxley or other authors of novels foretelling of a dystopian future.

Each and every one of these people sees themselves as Che. Short the body count, it’s accurate. They really don’t care about the ideology. It is a bunch of contradictions. They are angry and aggrieved, and have identified an “enemy” and want to kill them.
It is the reason that these “people’s revolutions” never flourish past the genocide stage. Once they killed everybody they blamed for their unhappiness, they find their political beliefs to be insufficient to create a stable society. All they have left after that is to blame more groups for their failures and kill them too, until they collapse or everyone is dead.

Che Guevara was not the greatest warrior ever or even close to a warrior. In fact he pretty much sucked. It has been said that Castro kept him round because he was well read and could have decent conversation with him in the Sierra Maestra. His campaign in Africa and South America tell you how bad he actually was.
Che’s body count was mostly in the torture chambers of the Cuban jails.
I never suggested the people were warriors either. They are wannabe murders. They don’t want to fight. They want to kill unarmed Trump supporters. They think of themselves as revolutionaries. They are cowards who mace middle age women for disagreeing with them.
I don’t think they have the true killing mindset but just an XBox type. That does not mean that killing at their hands may not happen, but it will take them in surprise to find out the deep precipice between what they thought it was going to be to what it turns out too be. Most will freak out and hide, the dangerous will enjoy it.
Marx advocated an armed populace. I’m not sure how he would have reconciled that with the fact that a large central government would be more apt to establish controls on firearms. I don’t see a Communist government going “We’re gonna regulate this, this, this, and this, but guns, we’ll leave those alone…”
