It seems that in 2018, the Democrats are going full tilt into identity politics.
This Tweet has been mocked because why bother with candidates’ names when there are identities that need to be advertised.
If this is the game the Democrats want to play, I have an idea how to best them.

The Lesbian Hispanic woman who got the Democrat nomination for governor in Texas is well known for her term as Dallas County Sheriff. Her tenure As Sheriff was marked by corruption and mismanagement. She apparently also failed to qualify 4 times with her issue pistol-as reported to me by Dallas SO deputies . The 5th time, after a private Range session witnessed by no one other than the grader , she passed handily.
Governor Abbot is campaigning actively, but Ms. Valdez has quite a hill to climb.
