A majority of Democrats want to nominate New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for president instead of Joe Biden, according to poll results shared exclusively with The Post.
The national poll found 56 percent of Democrats prefer Cuomo, with 44 percent wanting to stick with presumptive nominee Biden — a 12-point margin well outside the 4.8 percent margin of error for the Democratic sample.

So, you are going t have a chunk of Democrats that went for Bernie and feel they were cheated during the Primaries. Next we are going to have another chunk of Democrats that voted for Biden and their choice will not be respected because the higher ups in the party feel Cuomo is a better challenger than Biden. And what if Cuomo fucks up or comes out evidence he fucked up the Wuhan virus response in NY? They are gonna tap Michelle O. to tag 2 weeks before the election?
I am sure there will be a high level of motivation to vote among Democrats come November.

Cuomo won’t run. He’s an asshole, a despot, and a complete disgrace, but he’s not stupid enough to go up against Trump. He’ll go all in for 2024.
Trump won’t hesitate to run against Cuomo’s corruption. Lesser politicians wouldn’t have the guts.

If Cuomo, de Blasio, the woman from Michigan, gov of Illinois, and the mayor of NOLA did anything, they proved that Democrats in Blue cities and states think of their jobs as sinecures. They don’t need to lead, they just need to blame the next highest Republican for their failures.
