Zinnia Jones is a progressive, trans, social justice activist and clearly insane person.

She posted something about gun control on her twitter, which I hat to get the long way around because she doesn’t post publicly.

Taking guns away from people would be uneventful?

Really?

This person is clearly confused about everything in her life.

I live in Alabama, where 57.2% of people own guns.  Lets say they get banned at the federal level.

I know it can’t happen, but lets say it did.  Trump gets impeached.  Hillary gets the presidency because she won the popular vote.  Gorsuch is taken of SCOTUS because Turmp didn’t count and his position gets filled by Obama, and they overturn they decide the 2A means that ONLY state sponsored militias can own guns.

Who is going to enforce the gun ban?  Alabama police?  They are going to go door to door and take guns away from family and neighbors.  How many warrants will they need to search every home for the guns that weren’t lost in boating accidents?

The Alabama National Guard?  Same thing as above.

They will have to send law enforcement from DC down here to do that job.

Let me tell you something.  There are plenty of people down here that sit around and fantasize about shooting an invading army of northern bureaucrats to get revenge for what the Army of the Potomac did to great-great-grandpappy.

You go right ahead and send a bunch of Yankees down south to take our guns away.

I don’t think “uneventful” would be the word to describe what happens.

You’d have an easier time convincing these people that a man should not refuse to date a “woman” with a penis, as you would that he should hand over his guns to DC bureaucrats without a fight.

  1. One is reminded of an apocryphal (probably) story from WWII.

During some tensions between Switzerland and Germany, an exasperated NAZI diplomat asked the Swiss ambassador how big the Swiss army was. The reply: “about a million men.”

The German then asked “What would you do if we sent two million men into Switzerland?

The Swiss ambassador replied “I suppose we’d all have to shoot twice.”

  2. I do not know what their Bubble is made out of, but someone should try to make body armor out of it. It is impervious to everything.

  3. Hhhhmmm, bring friends…..a lotta friends…..guns?? What guns? I dont have any… remember conneticut about 2 years ago? They enacted the “assult weapons ban” and you had ta ” register” your guns. Only about 50k idiots ran down and did that.. then the state police said ” we cant wait to start kicking down doors” and they were serious until they got reminded that there were between 400000- 500000 people with these guns and the SP had 1200 TOTAL employees. Good luck

    1. @curby Same thing happened in NY, only fewer people registered, and there are even more guns here. The NYSP, Governor Cuomo’s enforcement arm, aren’t even enforcing the SAFE Act. I’ve got friends who are Troopers who say they have been ordered not to arrest when they find a person with an unregistered “assault rifle”. They have been instructed to advise the person to register the gun when they get the chance. The point I’m making here is that even in a blue state like New York, the government realizes how poorly gun control is being received. To the point that they aren’t enforcing their own law (so far). That being said, door to door confiscation? Forget it. No way. No one wants to do that, and no one is going to do that.

  4. If even 2% of all gun owners violently refused to give up their arms, that’s somewhere in the 2 – 3 million people range. Those numbers would equate to a fairly eventful conflict.

    1. @NYC2AZ – I try to tell people that all the time. And remember that most of our military is NOT infantry, e.g. actual door kickers. There’s only like 60,000 of us in total between USMC and Army.

Even if they actually brought in the boots on the ground (not that most of us would comply…but for arguments sake) and only 1% of CURRENT gun owners participated it would still be a guerrilla conflict where the GUERRILLAS outnumbered the enforcing force over 10 to 1. And where that guerrilla force was full of 1st world educated people (they think goat herder IEDs were clever? I don’t even want to know what the US citizens are capable of doing).

That’s not winnable. Not even close to winnable. No general in this world thinks that’s winnable.

      1. Not to mention those in the Police and military who would defect. Or better yet, stay within the ranks in order to sabotage or tip people off to particular operations.

      2. Yes, I believe you have it correct. That is why the politicians keep pushing for gun control, so as to disarm the populace bit by bit. It’s the only way they can do it.

    2. Really it would only take one MAYBE two people who fully understand that if the Jackboots come for the guns, the individual is NOT going to win that fight….but if they accept that when the Jackboots knock they’re already dead, and the only logical response is to take as many down as you can.

That ONE event would be HUGE, as even most “Progressives” know that confiscating lawfully held guns is a fools errand for public safety, and even the worst of the authoritarians are just like us and want to go home and hug their wife and kids.

Just two events where the otherwise peaceful gun owner fights back because he KNOWS that when all the guns are gone life is over for us anyway will probably result in a lot of officers calling in sick on raid day.

      1. And once the first confiscation turns to a shooting incident, those who don’t wish to comply will be faced with the notion that it might be better if they shoot back first. Ordering up an ambush with 911 is going to look a hell of a lot better than waiting for them to come to your door with the advantage of numbers.

Most police forces, if they make everyone roll out at once, are in a 1000:1 or worse ratio to the general populace. If you think you belong to a generally disliked demographic that is protected by law and order, fomenting something like the above is not really in your best interest. It removes the barrier of social sanctions on anyone who dislikes you form doing really bad things to you by defaulting to maximum social sanctions against the other party as the base line.

      2. Obama was shaking in his boots over the BLM actions in Nevada and Utah.

When Finicum was shot by the FBI they were preparing for an all out war in the West.

  5. “…it would probably be surprisingly uneventful.” Uh, Sir/Ma’am, after you got your surprise at the first door you’d try this at, the rest of your eternity would be very free of events, likely the definition of “uneventful”.

  6. Yeah, I’m waiting for the Feds to create the Bubba effect. Sure would be entertaining….and not for the Feds.

  7. And of course, M. Jones would be willing to forfeit all rights against searching his/her home, no matter what else may be found there, in the interests of progress? After all, to be sure, every home will need to be tossed..

  8. Mr. Jones, I challenge YOU to come to my door and take my guns. You’ll be surprised at the reaction you’ll get. Eternity is a long time to nap, SIR. And don’t expect some poor LEO to do your dirty work for you. No, SIR, you do what you suggest. You, SIR, come to my door, and let’s test your thesis. I’ll be waiting.

  9. He, she, it should go get a dose of reality. Most if not all snowflakes need some serious detox from the progressive toxins.

  10. If I knew where this silly bovine lived, I’d make a 911 call and get her ‘swatted’. I bet she’d buy a gun after that kind of terror.

  11. Why do they even publish what he states? Anyone who reads his twitter account (and I am sure there are not many) think like him anyway. So putting it out there for normal people to read only gives him more exposure. This is a man who wants to be a “woman” because he doesn’t have what it takes to be a real man. So instead of cowboying up and becoming a man, he decides to act like a woman because that is easier for him. Being a retired police officer I can tell you right now that most police officers will never do what he suggests. Most are gun enthusiasts or hunters or both. Same with the military, most soldiers come from the south or were raised in the country so it is NEVER EVER going to happen in my lifetime!!!

  12. It’s obscene how some people who don’t have a clue about how government works are the first and loudest to mouth off about “how things ought to be”. She/he/it wants Trump impeached (funny these fools never say what crime he committed) and she/he/it then think Hitlery would just be appointed president.

Can somebody explain to these mental midgets that Hitlary only won a handful states, not the entire country and that was why some very wise men set up our system the way it is. Clinton lost the electoral college and that’s the way it is.

Please! Would some university/ Jr College/ grade school/ somebody that still teaches civics classes please take this idiot and teach her a few things. She/he/it must have been playing with their Barbie dolls instead of paying attention to the teacher at school.

    1. Exactly. The Electoral system was designed to prevent the metropolitan areas from trampling the other 80-90 percent of the country purely by virtue of high population.

  13. I can’t believe this article and some comments are giving any kind of first thought to a person who right off the top can’t decide what sex they are by feeling between their legs. Anything else coming from them is an instant mute point.

  14. During the campaign, when it looked like Hilary might win, the Sheriff in my county was ready to defend our borders against any federal firearms confiscation, and even offered to supply arms to civilians who would help.

  15. I posted this story a few days ago on a local Anarchist page, political anarchy mind you… …the URL went to 33 views on a page that gets semi responses.

…that said, I mentioned that the day before this would happen there would be blood bridle high in the streets, on the page where I link the story from.

the comments to my comments ranged from safety zone needing wimps to macho malcontents honestly…

…I’m not scared of the idiot with a 38… …I am freaked out sometimes by my trigger happy neighbor that cracks a entire magazine at 2 am.
