A gunman who fired shots to bring police to the Trump National Doral golf course and resort early Friday was disabled by five officers who shot him in his legs, a police chief said.
The resort is in northwest Miami-Dade County. It is owned by President Donald Trump’s privately held company; he was not on the premises during the 1:30 a.m. incident.
Arrested was Jonathan Oddi, 42, a Doral resident who was hospitalized in stable condition. The only other reported injury was to a Doral police officer who broke his wrist.
A police chief said officers were called after Oddi pointed a handgun at staff and began firing.

I know a lot of people who won’t put any political stuff on their car because of concerns about vandalism or assault (including me). Most of them are conservative. None of my liberal friends have ever expressed this concern to me that I can recall.
I guess because they know subconsciously that they have nothing to fear from conservatives. They may spout slogans saying otherwise, but they know better in their hearts, such as they are.
I have an NRA sticker on my truck. I’m gambling that for the most part, many liberals are too stupid to understand what the National Rifle Association is and only know the letters “NRA”.
