Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has taken heat over his COVID-19 vaccine roll out by Florida Democrats because they believe that he has not done enough to vaccinate all Floridians, even though vaccines being distributed by the federal government have been slow to arrive. But now Gov. DeSantis is warning that the supply of vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson has dried up, and there will not be any vaccines being shipped to Florida for several weeks, possibly even longer. Yet the Biden administration is sending vaccines to Mexico.

“We’re projecting NO increase in the vaccine for Pfizer or Moderna for the next two or three weeks under the projected allotments right now,” said DeSantis. “We thought by the time we get into April the flood gates would open. As of right now, we are projected to get NO additional Johnson & Johnson for the foreseeable near future.”

DeSantis says Florida Will Stop Receiving COVID-19 Vaccines

Wait, what? Are you serious?

The United States plans to send millions of doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to Mexico and Canada, the White House said Thursday, a notable step into vaccine diplomacy just as the Biden administration is quietly pressing Mexico to curb the stream of migrants coming to the border.

Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, said the United States was planning to share 2.5 million doses of the vaccine with Mexico and 1.5 million with Canada, adding that it was “not finalized yet, but that is our aim.”

U.S. to Send Millions of Vaccine Doses to Mexico and Canada

Charity begins at home or so the saying goes.  The revelation that Mexico is more home than South Florida or anywhere else in the US for this administration should be an eye opener for those who were part of the rising of the House of Harris.

But they won’t. They rather die with a ventilator down their throats tan admit they were duped and have no problem letting us die anyway..

  1. The left was whining about Trump wanting to vaccinate Americans ahead of the rest of the world. IMHO their dream is to vaccinate their favored ruling classes then discover “issues” like in Europe — 37 reactions out of 17,000,000 vaccinated — and shut down vaccinations. Then they can keep their sumptuary laws, er, “health critical travel restrictions” in place and have the two-tiered society of apparat and serfs they dream about.

  2. Un. F**king. Believable. Didn’t China Joe promise us one million vaccines a day when he took office? Oh yeah, that was the bad orange man that actually did it before Jan 20th. Seems Canada and Mexico could get the Astra-Zeneca VAX from all those Europeans, who have suspended it.

  3. Call it what it is, a Vaccination Holodomor. Biden is denying FL vaccines and the media will convince the people that is the Governor’s fault. Has DeathSantis just listed to Fauci, Florida would be getting more vaccines.

The Soviets did exactly this to the Ukrainians. If only they would listen to Stalin they could have food, but as long as they resisted they would starve.

  4. Are you going to be able to get your second shot?

Gee, and I had just been thinking of getting vaccinated, too. If I could get the J&J locally.

    1. In MA, some people had trouble getting their appointment for their 2nd shot. The media solution is to tell them a few weeks’ delay isn’t a problem. (That’s likely accurate.) Some people who had appointments had them canceled when the governor decided to yank vaccine allocations from many clinics and send them to his favorite “mass vaccination sites” instead.

NH had a better idea: when showing up for your first appointment, you’re automatically assigned the same time slot 4 weeks later for the second appointment. No action needed, you’re just told. (I suppose you can change it if needed.)

All that said, there’s good evidence that just one dose of the 2-dose vaccines gives nearly all the protection you would get from the full regimen. So while it makes sense to follow the plan, there doesn’t seem to be any reason to be significantly concerned if there are snags.

  5. I’m actually fine with this. This was the Astra Zeneca vaccine which is approved by the FDA for use in the states at all yet. and AZ said they’d replace the amounts sent to foreign governments once it is approved, so this is actually a decent step. Seeing as how the FDA apparently isn’t going to just approve it immediately.
