They passed a law and now everybody is safe!
Starting last Saturday, (10/10/15) you will not see any more discharges of firearms in or nearby school properties in California (Yes, I am using the Everytown/Moms Demand definition of School Shooting.)
Of course, after the next “school shooting” and the necessary pointing out that the law did not work, we will be regaled with the equivalent of “It is just a first good step,” “If it only saves one life” and “we need more laws” volley of excuses and defenses.
In the meantime, the bodies will continue to pile up.

Damn, I could say that for the last post, too. We’re drowning in them.
Is it just me, or do others see the irony in this image of a stomping, hob-nailed boot being used to simulate the kicking action here……?
All it needs is a human face.
@chiefjaybob, I snorted with amusement when I looked at the graphic because the boot is a flimsy rubber galosh. They got the NRA logo right this time, but fell a little short knowing what a real boot looks like.
Well, good news is that since concealed carry was already all-but-illegal in California already, they probably aren’t going to see an increase in school rapes and assaults.
They sure aren’t going to see a decrease, though.
Culpable Governor Moonbeam will also get to dip his hands in the fresh blood of innocent people after the next inevitable school shooting in a gun free zone that he helped create.
Funny, the Constitution does not allow the Government to create such zones. It actually expressly denies them any authority to do so. Democrats can’t read or think, but they can certainly get emotional.
Another genius at work and another safe zone for criminals to attack with no resistance.Maybe they have changed the meaning of safe and no one told me.I am starting to think the anti’s and such are on the criminals side,creating all these places for them to hit next.When will these people admit they don’t know what they are doing,before we lose any more of our kids and other innocent people.Just because they are scared to protect themselves,they think no one should be able to.Then blame it on a object,I don’t know what kind of guns you have seen but mine has to have someone pull the trigger.For the ones that can understand that,I applaud you and thank you for being a rational and sane person.The ones that can’t understand this,then I thank you for not owning a gun.That makes me feel a little safer.
