Crapping on a family legacy for likes and profit

I got hit with this from Yahoo News:

From Thomas Jefferson’s own family, a call to take down his memorial

What?  Really?

Then I saw this name: Lucian K. Truscott IV

I have written about Truscott IV before.  Triscott IV is a piece of shit.  He’s not even that.  He doesn’t even the moral character to be an entire piece of shit.  He’s just a shit stain.  Lesser but somehow worse.

As I said in my last post about him, he is the great-great-great-great-grandson of Thomas Jefferson and the grandson of WWII General Lucian Truscott, commander of the 5th Army.  Tuscott IV went to West Point on the family name but was discharged under less than honorable conditions after only 13 months of active duty after refusing to go to Vietnam.

Since then, he has gained distinction among the radical Left for being able to consistently shit on America and her history while being the descendent of a Founding Father and a war hero.  Simply being the great-great-great-great-grandson of Thomas Jefferson does not imbue him with any greater authority than anyone else.  His great-great-great-great-grandfather would have agreed with him, considering that Jefferson spoke out against a monarchy and titles of nobility.

If anything it really does make him an even lower, slimier, more despicable shit stain, as he has figured out how to gain fame and fortune by shitting on the memories of his far greater and more accomplished ancestors.

The last time I wrote about him he was using his legacy as Thomas Jefferson’s great-great-great-great-grandson to explain why you shouldn’t be able to buy a $10,000 precision rifle because it’s a sniper rifle that scares him.

His willingness to exploit his ancestry to push Leftist drivel is how headlines like the one above get published.

Now, back to the story:

A direct descendant of Thomas Jefferson has called for the memorial to the third president to be removed from Washington, D.C.

Writing in the New York Times Monday morning, Lucian K. Truscott IV says his ancestor’s former estate at Monticello is enough of a tribute and that the Jefferson Memorial, located next to the Tidal Basin in the nation’s capital, should be replaced with a statue honoring the abolitionist hero Harriet Tubman.

I’m fine with a memorial for Harriet Tubman.  I am not fine with replacing the Jefferson Memorial.  Our nation exists because of Thomas Jefferson.  He was the primary author of the Declaration of Independence, ambassador to France, Governor of Virginia, the third President of the United States who made the Louisiana Purchase and lead the way to westward expansion by commissioning the Lewis and Clark Expedition.   Not to mention that he was perhaps the wisest of the Founding Fathers and know for being the most elegant writer of the Founders.

All his great-great-great-great-grandson wants you to remember is that he owned slaves.

“I am the sixth-generation great-grandson of a slave owner,” Truscott continues. “My cousins from the Sally Hemings family are also the great-grandchildren of a slave owner. But the difference is that our great-grandfather owned their great-grandmother. My family owned their family. That is the American history you will not learn when you visit the Jefferson Memorial. But you will learn it when you visit Monticello: There’s now an exhibit of Sally Hemings’s bedroom in her cavelike living quarters in the south wing, a room my brother and I used to play in when we were boys.”

This is the guy that the radical Left will trot out and say “even Jefferson’s great-great-great-great-grandson says it’s okay to destroy this memorial” as though it belongs to him.  It doesn’t.  The legacy of Thomas Jefferson is in the beating heart of every American who loves this country, which arguably precludes his great-great-great-great-grandson.

Truscott is the lowest form of snake shit in the country.  A despicable worthless shit stain than can only build himself up by cannibalizing the legacy of superior ancestors.  He should be shamed and driven out of society and anyone that quotes him favorably or uses him as justification for iconoclasm should be dipped in boiling roofing tar and rolled in feathers.

Ignorant Vandals and Savages, Pt. 3

From the Democrat and Chronicle:

Frederick Douglass statue vandalized on anniversary of his famous Fourth of July Rochester speech

On the same weekend in which famed abolitionist Frederick Douglass 168 years ago delivered one of his most historically resonant speeches, a statue of Douglass was toppled from its base and left near the Genesee River gorge.

The Maplewood Park location includes Kelsey’s Landing, where Douglass, Harriet Tubman, and others helped shuttle slaves to safety along the Underground Railroad.

Across the United States, Douglass’ July 5, 1852 speech, “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July,” has been shared widely on social media and elsewhere as a reminder of the country’s legacy of slavery and racism.

Douglass, a former slave, delivered the speech to the Ladies’ Anti-Slavery Society at Corinthian Hall in downtown Rochester.

Eison said the damage to the statue is too significant for it to be repaired, but another will take its place.

These people have no idea who Frederick Douglas was or why he was so important to American history.

They are nothing but ignorant vandals and savages.  It is rapidly becoming time to civilize them with a Krag, or whatever similar implement is available.

More good news from China

Consider that New York City and Los Angeles are having a severe rat problem.

The Plague isn’t spread human to human (unless one bites you).  It’s spread by fleas on rats.

If this does come her it could hit NYC and LA hard.

I just hope that if it does, Trump comes out and endorses streptomycin, doxycycline, and ciprofloxacin.  TDS will cause the governors of New York and California to ban those drugs and then the Plague will burn through them like it’s 14th Century Europe.

We lost Charlie Daniels.

Charlie Daniels, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame best known for “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” died Monday morning after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke. He was 83.

Daniels’ death was confirmed by his publicist, Don Murry Grubbs. He is survived by his wife, Hazel, and son Charlie Daniels Jr.

The Tennessean.

This one hurts. I had never heard of him before I went to Nashville in 82 and I ended up going Volunteer Jam in 1984 with a fever of 102. It was some of the most fun I had.

Someweher in the depths of a trunk, there is an old denim jacket with a patch that reads: “My two best friends are jack and Charlie Daniels.”

Rest in Peace, Charlie and thank you for the music and the patriotism.

Stop using 1984 as a How-To Manual

From CNN:

Twitter and JPMorgan are removing ‘master,’ ‘slave’ and ‘blacklist’ from their code

The language of computing is changing in the wake of the death of George Floyd.

Twitter is dropping the terms “master,” “slave” and “blacklist” from its code after two engineers lobbied for the use of more inclusive programming language. America’s biggest bank, JPMorgan Chase (JPM), is taking similar steps.

“Words matter,” Michael Montano, the head of Twitter’s engineering team, said in a tweet on Thursday. “We are committed to adopting inclusive language in our code, configuration, documentation and beyond.”

“Master” and “slave” refer to one process in the code that controls another, while “blacklist” describes a list of items that are automatically blocked, such as forbidden IP addresses.

This isn’t limited to tech.  Realtors have been told not to call it a “master bedroom” anymore.

There has been a movement to rename The Masters back to the Augusta Nationals because master can only mean owner of slaves and not someone who has mastered a sport.

Woke Harvard has eliminated the term Master from all academic titles and there has been talk of renaming the degree from Masters Degree to something else more inclusive.

Note how all of this shit is top down, starting with the elite of academia and the tech industry.

There are no master masons demanding their titles be changed.

I just can’t wait until some Professor of Women and Non-Binary Gender Studies has a conniption at the auto shop because the master mechanic says the brake slave cylinders on her Volvo need replacement.

I would love to see that mechanic look the professor right in the eye and say:

“You’re right.  I’ve emancipated your brake slaves.  Be careful going down hill.”

And just leaves it at that.

“Firearm Purchasing and Firearm Violence in the First Months of the Coronavirus Pandemic in the United States.” A study in statistical bullshit

We estimate that there were 2.1 million excess firearm purchases from March through May 2020–a 64.3% increase over expected volume, and an increase of 644.4 excess purchases per 100,000 population. We estimate a relative rate of death and injury from firearm violence of 1.015 (95% Confidence Interval (CI): 1.005 to 1.025) for every 100 excess purchases per 100,000, in models that incorporate variation in purchasing across states and control for effects of the pandemic common to all states. This reflects an increase of 776 fatal and nonfatal injuries (95% CI: 216 to 1,335) over the number expected had no increase in purchasing occurred.

This is more Gnomes Underpants theorems: More gun were bought + violence increased = More Guns, More violence.

But, unless they manage somewhere to link specific guns purchased during this time period to crimes occurred in the same span, their study is just academic masturbation of the second degree.

Yes dear academics, you must hope that a firearm is recovered from the scene of the crime, traced to the buyer and hope he/she was the culprit or that the newly purchased firearm was lost or stolen and ended up in the hands of the killer.  Now, let’s say police agencies out of the goodness of their harts allow you to get all that missing info, you will discover a new factor that may screw your gleaming study: Time To Crime. From the Brady Bunch website:

“Time-to-crime” is the amount of time between the retail sale of a firearm by a federal firearms licensee (FFL) and its recovery by law enforcement.

You see that? It is very important to your study because you claim the the guns sold had a direct and immediate effect on the raise in violent crime, right.

Except reality is so different. One example is the Sunshine State:

If you were to recover a firearm from a crime scene in Florida, the average date when that gun was bought was eight and a half years ago.  Did you take that into account in your study? Of course not.  What you suddenly have is a miniscule amount of guns bought during this virus period may appear in a crime scene in an average of 8 years.

One last question: Does your study include the BLM riots, #CHAZ, etc?

Your “conclusion” of gun sales are instant Gun Violence is absurd and it has been absurd for decades. And in the era of Google, with the same old data and studies available, one has to wonder why is this being rehashed and who is footing the bill to perpetuate this load of statistical manure.
