I am going to shamelessly rip off one of Miguel’s old posts.

In the last couple of days, we’ve heard a lot about defunding or disbanding the police.

In every instance, the alternative suggested by these radicals is some vague bromide about community and social services and being there for neighbors.

Three years ago, Miguel wrote a post “But if we educate them, they won’t rape.”

The evil in it has stuck in my mind ever since.

To quote the original article he pulled from:

Frank Yeager, of Bucks County, was originally convicted of attempted rape in 2013, the Morning Call reported. State police told the paper he fantasized about raping women.

He was convicted of planning a rape of a real estate agent who fit his mold of a “Paris Hilton” type. The agent managed to escape after refusing to go upstairs in a secluded model home.

Lehigh Valley Live reported Yeager’s diary and computer searches showed he was hell-bent on rape.

Yeager’s diary was filled with drawings and writings, detailing rape fantasies. He spent five months working on the plan, including putting together a list of more than 200 real estate agents.

“I truly enjoy the hunt and cannot wait for my prize,” one diary entry read. “If you are reading this I found a realtor woman and raped her. I have been planning and have wanted this my whole life.”

This person is a monster.  A vicious, evil, predator.

There is no amount of social services or community action that could or would have stopped him.

Only a police officer putting him in handcuffs and behind bars did that.

People like this exist.

The people who are diving the anti-police activism have seem to have this idea that every criminal is a victim.  If you just satisfy their needs and be their friend they will magically transform into a functioning member of society and won’t resort to criminality.

This is utopianism at best and gross naiveté at worst.

My only hope is that when the police are disbanded, the Frank Yeagers of this world will choose to indulge their evil apatites on the politicians who voted to disband the police and not innocent people.  However, I know that won’t be the case.

The other day Miguel wrote a post I would laugh at this if it wasn’t for the potential violent crime that will bring.

He quoted from 10 Action Ideas for Building a Police-Free Future by MPD150, which is the group leading the disbanding of the Minneapolis Police.

One point in their list of ideas is:

4. If you DO need police, go to them instead of calling them to you.
From the zine, “12 Things to Do Instead of Calling the Cops:” If something of yours is stolen and you need to file a report for insurance or other purposes, consider going to the police station instead of bringing cops into your community. You may inadvertently be putting someone in your neighborhood at risk.

That “zine” describes itself this way:

The reason that the activists and city council members that are pushing disbanding the police have no answers to what to do when there is a crime and no police is that they don’t want to have answers.

They are radical Leftist anarchists or are taking their talking points from radical Leftist anarchists.

They have no solution, they simply want chaos.

Their list proves it.

Don’t feel obligated to defend property—especially corporate “private” property. Before confronting someone or contacting the police, ask yourself if anyone is being hurt or endangered by property “theft” or damage. If the answer is “no,” then let it be.

Just allow theft, especially theft of corporate property.

If you see someone peeing in public, just look away! Remember, for example, that many houseless people do not have reliable access to bathrooms.

Street art is beautiful! Don’t report graffiti and other street artists. If you see work that includes fascistic or hate speech, paint over it yourself or with friends.

Vandalism and vagrancy are fine, even beautiful.

You cannot have a society that functions this way.  It is impossible.  But this is who actual city government is borrowing ideas from and they are not even doing a half-assed job trying to hide it.

This is a cynical, exploitative, sham.

Arabs are viciously racist against blacks.  Viciously.

The Arabic word abeed for “black person” is the same as the word for “slave.”

Arabic TV is full of racist tropes and blackface.

Anti-black racism permeates Arabic literature.

The Arabs were the driving force of slavery in the East and many of their slaves came from Africa.  A fact the Arabs not just haven’t forgotten, but one they are proud of.  They think of it as a mark of superiority that they were the slaver and not the slave.

Black Africans are still being sold as slaves in Arab lands today.

So why would Palestinians support black lives matter?

Why would they give a fuck about a black American, considering that they by and large hate both black people and Americans?

They don’t.  This is cold political calculus.  They act in an intersectional way and white Legftits will claim solidarity with them.  This is nothing more than a means to turn white Leftists towards the Palestinians and against Israel.

The Arabs suck at way.  Boy howdy, do they suck at war.

What they are good at is manipulating the emotions of white Leftists, and this is another example of it.

I have said this before, but I am compelled to say it again.

I have rescued abused dogs.  Abused dogs fall into two categories, those who crawl on their bellies around people totally submissive and those who become hyper-aggressive towards people.

What we are seeing right now is a group of radical Leftist activists turning the death of George Floyd into an opportunity to abuse their neighbors.

I have not heard one person on TV say that the officers who killed George Floyd shouldn’t have been fired and charged.  Every level of government, all the way up to the President, has condemned this act and is seeking justice through our judicial system.

The crowd has jumped the gun and started their civil unrest before the justice system started to work.  This is one of the biggest differences between today and LA in 1992.  Those riots started after a jury decided not to convict the officers that beat Rodney King.  Today, the riots began right away.

The riots are only the tip of the iceberg.  The internet hate mob is equally destructive, going after people who criticize the protest or fail to show enough fawning obsequiousness for the movement on their social media.

What has been highlighted by the media are white people who have been reduced to groveling on their bellies.

National Guardsmen who took a knee with protesters when they were supposed to be protecting cities from rioters.

A police chief who got down on his belly before the protesters.

White people on their knees begging for mercy and forgiveness from black people for crimes they did not commit.

And perhaps the most degrading of all, white people washing the feet of black people as an act of contrition.

These are guilty white liberals who have been reduced to the abused dogs crawling on their bellies.

The racial grievance crowd does this because in the words of George Orwell:

Always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless.

This is the intoxication of power.

I promise you, the other side of the coin is still there.

Nobody is asking “what  about the people who think George Floyd’s death is wrong, but also don’t support the rioting, and don’t want to dedicate their Facebook pages to #BLM or wash people’s feet and are terrified of having their lives destroyed for it?”

This is the base that will go the way of the hyper-aggressive abused dog.

I am absolutely sure the goal of the Left is to kick off a bloody race war, because they have to understand that there will be a backlash to this and it will not be pretty.

The Left screams “DEFUND THE POLICE!’ and when they turn to see our reaction, they are greeted by nods of agreement and predatory smiles.

It has to be confusing the hell out of them.

Surge in demand for concealed carry permits in several Alabama counties

Sheriff’s offices in many Alabama counties are being flooded with people applying for concealed carry permits due to current events with protests and riots across the country in the wake of George Floyd’s death in Minnesota.

“People are scared,” said Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry. “Everyday, I’m getting a couple hundred phone calls. People don’t know what to expect, so they’re coming out to protect themselves.

Cullman County saw record demand for the permits on Tuesday when 250 applications were processed, which Gentry said easily topped the old record of 115 in a day.

He said he doesn’t see any letup in the near future. “We had seven to 10 people lined up ready to go this morning,” Gentry said Wednesday.

The demand is so great that the sheriff set up a tent outside the office and dedicated more staff in order to process permits faster.

Both the Shelby County and Morgan County Sheriff’s Offices reported a similar increase in demand for the concealed carry permit.

I really love Alabama sometimes.

When the Sheriff’s Office gets swamped with demands for carry permits, they set up a tent outside to process them faster.

No one was sure what the protests would turn to down here in the South and people wanted to protect themselves.

Alabama’s ease of obtaining carry permits meant a flood in applications.

People in New York are lining up to buy guns, people in Alabama are lining up to get carry permits.  Guns are flying off the shelves like we haven’t seen… ever.

I’d expect Miguel is going to be posting record FL CWP data at the end of the month due to this insanity too.

I went to Cabela’s on Friday to buy socks and the gun counter was stripped bare.  Just a few deer rifles and waterfowl guns.  Nearly every handgun and tactical shotgun or rifle were sold out and so was every major pistol caliber and all the 223 and 308.

It’s going to be interesting when the Democrats push for gun control after they sold probably two-and-a-half million guns in a month.

And it comes in Soy Boy flavor.

The goalposts are no longer moving, they are just spinning like a merry-go-round.
