So I email Kathy and tell her I am oozing with envy about her being at the SHOT Show. Her reply was:

It all seems neat-o-riffic because it’s GUNS! — but damn I really hate Vegas, and I hate casinos, and I hate hotels. And after years of doing the trade-show set-up, booth-bait and walk-around I really hate trade shows no matter their contents. I’m glad someone else is going.
If I went it would seem like work and make me start hating guns.
It’s almost enough to stop going to the Gunblogger Rendezvous because I hate casinos and hotels and Reno…
