If you thought that the Tie Pod challenge was stupid, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Let me introduce you to the ‘No Lackin Challenge.’

This apparently stems from a hip hop video called ‘No Lackin.’  Lackin being a word meaning ‘not carrying a firearm.’

So ‘No Lackin’ is a double negative meaning to be carrying a firearm, because hooray for the Queen’s English.

So the ‘No Lackin Challenge’ is when one hip hop fan thinks one of his hip hop buddies is ‘Lackin’ he pulls a gun on his buddy, while filming, so record the response.

A teen in Memphis was shot in the head by his idiot friend when his idiot friend pulled a gun on him doing this

I hope to god that this is all a fake.  I am seriously praying that the ‘No Lackin Challenge’ is fake and this was a case of attempted murder and the guy made up the challenge to plead down to a lesser charge.

I am having a hard time believing that this really is a thing.

This is like the ‘knockout game‘ with guns.  There is no way that situation will end well.

Some idiot is going to ‘No Laking Challenge” his idiot buddy, and his idiot buddy will shot back.  Or it will be spotted by a cop or third party with a CCW and then said cop or CCW will shoot the idiot.

Then it will be all over the news how her “precious baby boy was just turning his life around and about to go to college and was just playing a game” when he was shot and killed by a racist.

This is just a super cell of stupid.

      1. I just don’t want to be harangued if I have to shoot somebody who I though was going to mug me or start shooting up the food court in the mall after his mama says that he was just doing a stupid internet challenge.

If the Antis go nuts when you shoot a moron who was robbing a Pizza Hut with an unloaded gun, just think how off the rails they will go if you shoot a guy making a YouTube video.

I don’t care about them. I care about the cop or CCW who shoots one.

        1. That’s a good point. If these clowns do this sort of thing to each other, that’s just evolution in action improving the breed. But if it hurts innocent bystanders (either as targets, or as judicial victims when they exercise their right to self defense as you said) that’s an entirely different matter.

It’s not clear how to solve this. The best answer may be to rigorously enforce the right to self defense, so that any person hurt in response to pointing a weapon-like object at an innocent bystander is judged to deserve the consequences.
