It is the basic mental principle of Liberals that they can impose stuff on other and they do not get to help their fellow humans. For people who “care” , I always found amazing that they are always so cheap with charity.
But why are these tourists here rather tan back at home? I know the State Department has been forced to actually work in favor of US Citizens and has been repatriating them from all over the world, what about Argentina?
After formally sealing Argentina’s borders to foreigners on March 15, president Alberto Fernandez announced less than two weeks later that he was suspending the country’s repatriation program.
According to Argentine media, the last repatriation flight — operated by Aerolineas Argentinas, the country’s flag carrier — took off from Miami on March 27. Since then, around 10,000 Argentine citizens have been left stranded around the world. An estimated 1,130 of those are in Miami.
Stranded tourists moved in to empty, rat-infested Miami house. ‘We have nothing.’
So the Leftie President decided to abandon 10,000 fellow citizens around the world and stupid liberal chick from Texas blames Florida Governor of not acting like a fascist and take over private property.
Yeah, makes sense.
The Left always does the yawn and stretch when the bill comes, leaving it to the richest guy at the table to pick up the bill after they ordered the filet and lobster tail.
Just like this girl wants Trump to pick up the tab for stranded tourists, Argentina was going to let other countries (the US and Europe) pick up the tab for leaving thier citizens abroad.
Wait a minute, here.
They had a 10-day vacation planned. There were two weeks between Argentina formally sealing its borders and halting repatriation flights, with the last one out of Miami on the 27th. (So 12 days between border closing and last repat flight from Miami. Still longer than their vacation.)
So I can only presume these people left for their vacation after their country’s lockdown had started … at least 2 days after? After things had also already started getting interesting in the US? They saw all this evolving and didn’t pause their plans?
Color me unsympathetic.
Let’s see, you fly to Miami in early March, then your President seals the borders on March 15 and ends all international flights on March 27. First, what the hell were you doing on an international flight for pleasure in early March? By then the whole world was starting to go into lockdown. Second, when your own president seals the borders of your country why didn’t you move heaven and earth to get on a repatriation flight? Apparently partying (or the prospect there of) in Miami makes even 29 to 34 year olds stupid.
Two definitions of “charity”:
1. Conservative: I give some of my property to a person in need, or to an organization that helps such persons.
2. Liberal: I have the government take other people’s property to give to someone in need, or someone who claims to victim status, or an organization that claims to help certain people.
I’ve actually seen people claim that liberals are more charitable, who then go on to point at the fact that liberals are more free with other people’s money.
