These lockdowns and declarations of what is and is not essential are arbitrary and capricious.
Like all arbitrary and capricious laws, rational thinking citizens will question them and try to work around them.

There are only two things that can happen.
The Soviet/Chinese system of total repression, stamping out the rational thinkers.
Abandoning the restrictions and returning to normal.
Michigan seems to have chosen repression. Let’s see how the other states react.

On my Facebook feed, Mrs. Whitmer’s narrative appears to have gained traction. Evidently my correspondents believe that either we go full jackboot (to the extent that *that”* characterization is not histrionic overreach), or we hold hug-a-thons in Wal Mart.
