What they hope to accomplish is to make conservatives look bad. Any right leaning group is already demonized by the Feds and the media. They want to make sure the public think that conservatives are a danger to the Republic. So, when the left continues the election shenanigans and these groups show up to protest, people are programmed to think of them as the enemy.
Apparently having the FBI infiltrate militias, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, etc isn’t enough, they have to have their own creation.
