Ohio State University Starts OnlyFans Seminar

Are you working hard or hardly working? That’s the question to ask yourself if you’ve enrolled in Ohio State University’s OnlyFans seminar, which encourages students to get informed and involved in the world of online sex work as a part of OSU’s Sex Week (designed to promote safe and healthy sexual habits).

We think this is a great idea to get curious students more informed on the world of sex work and how they can possibly make some extra money. We just hope the students are okay with possibly seeing their classmates, um, reveal it all. That sounds like it might be a little awkward.

Sarcastic me says “at least the college is teaching money making life skills.”

But that sardonic honestly reveals just how fucked up society has become.

Forget jobs with honor and dignity thar benefit society.  That notion from ancient philosophy (the Greeks, Romans, ancient Jewish sages, Christian philosophers, all wrote about the idea of dignity through good work and being a productive citizen), that’s obsolete.

All that matters today is fame and money so why not learn how to properly light your asshole when you shove a cucumber in it in front of a Webcam for thousands of paying subscribers.

We are in the end stages of civilization, indulging in decadence before our inevitable collapse.

  1. Prior to today I thought Ohio State was still one of the better universities… I was very mistaken.

Just yet another nail in the coffin of “higher” education.

    1. Oh, no, it will become first acceptable, and then almost mandatory, to have something like that in one’s past.

Like, say, military service used to be.

  2. There are always clowns at universities; their presence doesn’t mean there aren’t engineers and scientists — and even serious people getting humanities degrees — there.

    1. Speaking as one with a degree in the physical sciences … How much longer do you suppose we can go on, when our very jobs are imperiled if we insist that 2+2 =4 and only 4?

At some point it becomes impossible to do one’s job properly, if bringing the desired answer to the table takes precedence over bringing the right one. See for instance economists in any communist country.

Hell, we already see this happening when we try to do budgeting.

  3. Higher eduction is a business. Just like any other.

If the customers want a seminar on running an Only Fans business, why not capitalize on it?

  4. Should see the emails and what the university president and PR department sends to alums, employees, and students. What they’ve chosen to focus on and give voice to. Heck not just voice but money too.

Each little blurb edging closer to struggle sessions and required reeducation training for workers. Direct quoted terms there by the by.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
