NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are investigating after a gunshot was fired during a carjacking at a gas station on West Trinity Lane in Nashville early Tuesday morning.
Officers responded around 12:30 a.m. to a robbery outside of the Marathon off Interstate 65.
Police said they determined three men drove up to the victim and told him to hand over his keys.
At one point, detectives said one of the men fired at least one gunshot, leading a bullet to travel through the victim’s pants. He was not wounded, according to investigators.

One thinks that new and exotic challenges will be placed in front of you, but in reality the same old crimes will pop up just like it was South Florida or Maine or Average Town USA.

I should be getting my first issue of the local newspaper (it is part of the USA Today network so I do not expect Pro-Gun advocacy) and I already have the TV stations saved to my bookmarks as the name of the game now is to gather information, not only crime-wise, but politics as well.  You need to know the game and the players to be effective or at least not look like an idiot.

“Expect donkeys, not zebras” applies most everywhere and it is a good advice to follow.

  1. Cheat sheet for local news

WKRN: We don’t always tell the whole story, but we’ll report things about the smaller surrounding towns that no one outside of those towns cares about.

WSMV: We also don’t always tell the whole story but we might include parts that the other stations don’t.

NewsChannel5: We will straight make shit up about people we don’t like and call it Investigative Journalism

Fox17: Hey we’re a real news station, too, you know!
