The scum side of Portland mixed with Females acting up down like it is a badge of honor to behave as stupid as men. One soul trying to stop violence and lethal violence is foisted upon him for being nice.
We are living in a world where it does not pay to be a peacemaker, but sure as hell you may need to carry one. I was going to be ionic and just say “Be a good witness” but truthfully not even that: You see crap like this, just walk away and let Darwin sole the problem.
More and more society it telling me that no good deed goes unpunished and being a Good Samaritan is a death wish.

Yeah, I made a mistake once of helping a girl who was getting beaten by her guy. I gave him some of his own medicine, she smashed a bottle on my head and slashed me with it as a thank you. To quote the Raven, “Nevermore!”
I love the “she hit me first, I’m sixteen”. Yeah, so now you can break her skull with your friend against the concrete and maybe get a random guy capped. But maybe he called that guy the N word earlier, so it would be probably deemed justified in OREgone.
Why do I think their pimp told the two hos to beat the third ho for not bringing in the cash or whatever? Then he jumped in to defend his hos?
Sorry I will not get involved unless it is friends or family being unfairly attacked. I will call 911, and I will be the best witness I can from behind hard cover, or as I leave the area.

Victim has a name: Jonathon “Johnny” Polanco. Per the Oregonlive article, the girls jumped his girlfriend, KD Soling, and Johnny tried to help her. From the video it looks like one of the attacking girls had disengaged when the shooter took Johnny.

I got it wrong. KD Soling, in the dark, long sleeve hoodie, is the one getting most of the action. Johnny, in a long sleeve gray sweatshirt, came along and pulled one of the girls off before the shooter shot him.
