Got tired of being on hold for 35 minutes to ask what the heck has happened to the replacement revolver I was going to get for my recalled Rossi. I believe it has been 10 months, maybe more.
The lack of an occasional notification on the status has been a tad insulting. It is as the company wished we give up and forget about the gun.
What is the time limit before I must notify that my gun is lost or stolen to the authorities?

That is what I just asked them via their contact page… If they pis me even more, I’ll bookmark their asses with the ATF or maybe get the Florida Attorney General to launch a fraud investigation

Simply tell them you are waiting for your attorney to call back and you plan to sue them for a hundred grand. Tell them your attorney is Saul Goodman.

I guess Taurus is no longer on my possible supplier list.
As Customer care, I don’t think they can be trusted.
A nearby LGS was trying to sell me a Taurus pistol. Insisted that all the hype over bad Taurus QA and customer service was overblown, things were better, etc.
Then I see this, and I think ‘Yeah, you know, I’ll just wait for the Yeet Cannon to come out’.
I would have gotten the AG and ATF involved over theft of a firearm several months ago.
Taurus/Rossi isn’t a small custom shop that can be expected to take half a year, but a fairly good-sized internation arms firm that can and should be expected to stand behind its warranties in timely fashion.
It’s time for fraud and theft charges.
I’ll give them a week or so to reply to the email/message. After that I will have to start figuring out all options.
