The difference between Us and Them.

Never. That is possible the defining difference between the Pro Second Amendment Citizens and the Anti Gun forces.

We deal in reality and the unintended consequences of liberal applications of magical pixie dust as it comes out of the minds of some really dumb bastards. We know that at best, we are only offering you a fighting chance and hopefully it will be enough. They promise unattainable absolutes that any logic person will see are impossible to reach and that is why we will win.

In this vat of ointment called life, we see the fly. They see Tinker Bell. Go figure.

And now, behold the power of the NRA! (We must be a bunch of Dr. Evils!)

But when we brainwash, it either leaves that fresh spring meadow smell or sweet bluegrass field in the morning aroma in your skull.

“Gun nuts” crash firearms ‘turn-in’ event at Oregon, Baldr does not mention it.

The Thrill of the Chase part 2.

The plot thickens. The following video is in Spanish but shows the immediate aftermath of the shooting. It also shows the Hialeah Public Information Officer Eddie Rodriguez giving pretty much the same version of events as he did in English.

I am guessing you saw the semi too. Apparently it was not a car what was stolen but the semi. The theft did not happen on that day but the day before and the owner (shooter) was not chasing the semi but found it after spending the day looking for it. Or at least that is what the Cuban Language TV is saying.

The shooter Orlando Garcia, did get arrested for Aggravated Battery. Aggravated battery is defined in the Florida Statutes as:

1. Intentionally or knowingly causes great bodily harm, permanent disability, or permanent disfigurement of another person; or

2. Uses a deadly weapon; or

3. If a person who was the victim of a battery was pregnant at the time of the offense and the offender knew or should have known that the victim was pregnant, then the offender may be guilty of the crime of aggravated battery.

The crime of aggravated battery is a second-degree felony which is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
