Prosecution Tactics & Moral Misconduct.

“It has become routine for prosecutors to pile on every conceivable charge you could possibly stretch the law somehow to interpret as applicable to the conduct they’re going after,” said the Cato Institute’s Julian Sanchez. “The reason is, of course, that it’s expensive and time consuming to actually have to go to the trouble of having a trial.”

This is something that we must keep in mind and be ready for it if you ever find yourself in a self-defense situation under the control of a OCD-affected D.A. with a competitive streak. Also it is a great reminder of why Stand Your Ground must be defended at all costs and that refunding the cost to a defendant for an obvious pattern of prosecutorial misconduct must be included in our laws.

Also, did you notice that tidbit about Plea Bargains? 97% of crimes are pleaded down?!? We don’t just have a revolving door for criminals but it is powered by a frigging jet engine.

Post under review.

The post about the NY law being tougher on the owner of a single “hi cap” magazine than an arsonist is under review at this time. I gave a glance at the law and gave me a headache so many twists and turns.

I will let you know when I figure it out..

Jerking the trigger on two jerks.

Police are investigating after a man who walked in on a pair of thieves burglarizing his home shot the suspects in Miami Friday.

The shooting happened at the home in the 500 block of Northwest 52nd Street, Miami Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said.

According to Reyes, the homeowner shot both suspects in the legs.

Or maybe relaxing the wrist a bit too soon/much.  Never mind, all is well and whatever goes after.

Templar Custom added to the ones saying “Up Yours” to Gov. Cuomo and the NY Legislature.

We cannot legally sell rifles to New Yorkers as private citizens.

We will not sell arms to agents of the state of New York that hold themselves to be “more equal” than their citizens.

As long as the legislators of New York think they have the power to limit the rights of their citizens, in defiance of the Constitution, we at Templar will not sell them firearms to enforce their edicts.

Templar Custom is announcing that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee will no longer be served as customers.

Snowballing………

York Arms joins the dust-up

Based on the recent legislation in New York, we are prohibited from selling rifles and receivers to residents of New York. We have chosen to extend that prohibition to all governmental agencies associated with or located within New York. As a result we have halted sales of rifles, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, machine guns, and silencers to New York governmental agencies. For “civilian” customers residing in New York:

At your choice, we will:

complete your order and ship to a dealer of your choice outside of NY

refund your payment in full

hold your items here for up to 6 months, at no charge – if you are in the process of leaving NY and taking residence in another state.

For LE/Govt customers in New York:

Your orders have been cancelled.

Ouch!

CSGV Laddite of the Year Candidate: Richard M. Ponce

I am still speechless:

CSGV PonceThis is crush depth stupidity. He is probably a Liberal that will fly the robin-blue flag of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that is inspired by the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen of the French Revolution which was influenced by the US Constitution.

And of course that little detail that The Constitution and the Bill of Rights do not grant Rights but simply enumerate them as they are inherent to the Citizens Of This Country.

“Shall not be infringed” are words he and his buddies needs to heed.

Can we get a cop like this for Chief LEO of Miami-Dade?

“As a matter of fact, about the only thing I could say the victim could have done better is he could have fired sooner, fired more often and he could have used a better brand of ammunition,” Mansfield told the gathering.

Stuff like this makes me smile. That is a common sense approach to guns.
