I was on the bus the other day, and to my surprise a conservatively attired neo-Nazi and a blue-haired social justice warrior got on and sat together in front of me. I was waiting for the sparks to fly, but incredibly, they got on like a house on fire. The conversation was fascinating, so I sneaked out my notebook and started discreetly scribbling down their chat.

And they are coming to Miami on Friday or so they say. Let’s see what happens. Miami has not seen this kind of idiots since the Free Trade Area of Americas protests in late November 2003 and it did not fare well for the illegal protesters. Then again, the Seattle WTO anarchists riots were still fresh in LEOs memories.

Oh, a quick reminder to protesters: Arson is legally defined in the State of Florida as a Forcible Felony (776.08) which the law allows to respond with Deadly Force (776.012).

In fact, this is the list of some of the shit you guys do that are also Forcible Felonies and thus allowing citizens to use deadly force in their defense:
“aggravated assault; aggravated battery; unlawful throwing, placing, or discharging of a destructive device or bomb; and any other felony which involves the use or threat of physical force or violence against any individual.”

One last note: Contrary to the news, the courts in Miami Dade are very receptive to Stand Your Ground/Immunity from Prosecution.

The other day, in a post I talked about a man in Colorado that was stabbed in the hand and claimed that the attacker said “Are you one of them neo-Nazis?” before stabbing him.  The cause of the attack was presumably triggered because the man was wearing a high fade haircut, which is being associated with the alt-right.

Another similar story has hit my wire.

A man in Vermont, Sam Wormer, claimed that he was stabbed after being doxed after saying that it was wrong for the internet mob to dox, get fired, and call child protective services on someone he knew who was shown carrying a torch in a Vice news report on the Charlottesville protest.

Wormer claimed that he didn’t support Nazi or white supremacist views, but didn’t think that an internet mob trying to destroy his former classmate’s life was right either.

“Wormer said Roy and his family welcomed him into their home for Thanksgiving dinner in 2006, when the two were close friends. They lost touch about two years ago, Wormer said, except for a brief interaction last September when Roy shared that he would soon become a father,” the Free Press reported.

The paper added that “Wormer strongly disagreed with Roy’s views but did not support efforts to get Roy fired or to call the Vermont Department for Children and Families in an attempt to remove his child. Wormer said such efforts would lead to more anger.”

“Taking away somebody’s job and livelihood — I mean, that’s just adding fuel to the fire,” Wormer said. “I don’t think any good is going to come of this on anybody’s side.”

Apparently, trying to be the voice of reason and compassion was insufficient for the internet social justice mob, who decided he must pay in blood for his thoughtcrime.

I want to keep an eye on this to make sure it is not a hoax, but it seems to fit a growing pattern.  If you are not a member of the extreme ultra-Left social justice mob, you are assumed to be a Nazi sympathizer and one of their enemies.

If this turns out to be true and this trend continues, god help us.  It means that they can and will target anybody.  If you are not actively stabbing a “Nazi” they will try and stab you.

Be careful and be armed.

LEO Weekly is an online magazine that describes itself as “Publishing Louisville’s arts and entertainment news, community-focused stories, and colorful local commentary since 1990.”

On August 16, they published some hard core neo-Nazi propaganda.

I don’t think they realized that they did, because it was an OpEd written my a member of Louisville’s chapter of Black Lives Matter, but it was neo-Nazi propaganda nevertheless.

White people, here are 10 requests from a Black Lives Matter leader.

1. White people, if you don’t have any descendants, will your property to a black or brown family. Preferably one that lives in generational poverty.

2. White people, if you’re inheriting property you intend to sell upon acceptance, give it to a black or brown family. You’re bound to make that money in some other white privileged way.

3. If you are a developer or realty owner of multi-family housing, build a sustainable complex in a black or brown blighted neighborhood and let black and brown people live in it for free.

4. White people, if you can afford to downsize, give up the home you own to a black or brown family. Preferably a family from generational poverty.

5. White people, if any of the people you intend to leave your property to are racists assholes, change the will, and will your property to a black or brown family. Preferably a family from generational poverty.

6. White people, re-budget your monthly so you can donate to black funds for land purchasing.

7. White people, especially white women (because this is yaw specialty — Nosey Jenny and Meddling Kathy), get a racist fired. Yaw know what the fuck they be saying. You are complicit when you ignore them. Get your boss fired cause they racist too.

8. Backing up No. 7, this should be easy but all those sheetless Klan, Nazi’s and Other lil’ dick-white men will all be returning to work. Get they ass fired. Call the police even: they look suspicious.

9. OK, backing up No. 8, if any white person at your work, or as you enter in spaces and you overhear a white person praising the actions from yesterday, first, get a pic. Get their name and more info. Hell, find out where they work — Get Them Fired. But certainly address them, and, if you need to, you got hands: use them.

10. Commit to two things: Fighting white supremacy where and how you can (this doesn’t mean taking up knitting, unless you’re making scarves for black and brown kids in need), and funding black and brown people and their work.

Yes, you read those correctly.  The demands of Black Lives Matter Louisville are that white people give black people real estate and then publicly shame and try to get fired other white people.

This is every single terrible stereotype about black people and social justice activists mashed together into one listicle.

White Supremacists: “Blacks are lazy, they can’t speak English and demand handouts.  The Left hates white people and wants to take everything away from us and give it to the blacks.”

Moderates: “No they are not.”

Black Lives Matter: “Shut up whitey, hold my beer.”

Something like this hits my inbox I have a reflexively terrible thought, then tell myself to calm down.  The only reason I was able to buy a home as soon as I did was I inherited enough money after my father’s passing to make a minimum down payment.

For some young white person with a mountain of college debt, doing their best to save that minimum 5% down, reading that list might be driven further into the arms of the alt-Right.

This kind of advocacy doesn’t create Back Lives Matter supporters out of white people.  It creates Nazis.

So, I figured why not go old school? Search for the original iron sight and shoot like that? I had the ad so I knew I needed a Lyman No. 77 front sight and a Lyman No. 48H receiver sight, how difficult could that be?

Stop laughing if you knew the sights haven’t been an option for decades. The original rear sight (with knobs) can be found under $200 but the front sight? Only one so far for $80 and only one insert.

Not to cry too much, Lyman seems/appears to have similar modern aluminum (instead of steel like the originals) for $99.99 and $69.99 respectively BUT… I am not sure if the will fit. I recently sent an inquiry to Lyman and I am waiting to hear from them.

And then a friend told me: “Don’t forget the scoping scope!” Aww shit! That is another lot of insane range of prices. And apparently, even if I go the scope way, a spotting scope is needed.

So, the options are:

– The USMC Sniper Rifle Scope at $575 & gunsmithing charges to be determined.

– Original Lyman No. 77 front sight and a Lyman No. 48H receiver sight about $300 with S&H.

– Modern  Lyman Receiver Sight 57WJS and Lyman Globe Front Target Sight 93 (still waiting for confirmation from Lyman) at a grand total of $180 including shipping.

I won’t deny I’d lust after the scope just because the cool factor at the range. As for the iron sights, I want to go with the 48H and the 77 because they belong with the gun as it was intended and keeping it historically correct is the right thing to do.

Then comes the spotting scope. The best value I saw out there is the Celestron 52257 Ultima 100 at $299 (Cheapest price found). If I remember correctly, Celestron has always been a kick ass brand for optics with the coolest telescopes.  Other scopes with the same or similar specs and in that price range are from brands that are kinda suspicious. I am a sucker for a sale, but cheap crap is still crap.

This one does not come with a tripod, but I am figuring a table top microphone stand is cheaper (under $20) and better than the aluminum things I have seen online.

Basically, the money I need to shoot somewhat accurately ranges from $500 to $900. Ouch.
