He is not wrong even if we disagree because the question of what to do as a Civilian in case of a Mass Shooting Incident simply does not have one answer.

I have been thinking about the “right” answer since I got my FL CWP and you will probably see it reflected in the blog if you have been with us since the beginning. I kept changing my answer: First i was all gun-ho and “Hell Yes! I will fill the asshole full of holes!” and then as time passed and the realities set in, I went to “OH hell no!” and it has been back and forth and in between for a long time.

The conclusion I came to is that the answer will never be known till you are involved in a situation like that and after having all factors processed in one big ass hurry. Are you alone? Are you with armed family? Are you with unarmed family and kids? Is the shooter coming your way? Is he going away? Is he above/below you? Are people running away from the shooter and stampeding towards you? Are you full of health that day? Are you sick? Can you and yours evacuate? Are you cornered and ran out of choices?

And even if you die, it does not mean your answer was wrong.

The permutations are endless.

With some hesitation born of nostalgia, I turned in two AR style rifles to the Miami Police Department as part of their gun buy-back program today.

As a former U.S. Army Infantry officer, I was well trained in the use of, and felt very comfortable with, the M-16/M-4 platform. I have always considered myself a responsible gun owner. My 14 year old daughter and I built one of the ARs- from scratch- together.

But after the events of last month, I have decided enough is enough.

Why am I calling bullshit on this one?  Yes, there are idiots out there turning or destroying their AR 15s, we have covered them here before. But you want to tell me that you built and accessorized the ARs and are willing to trade that scope for a $200 gift card? We are talking a scope that can be removed and used on a bolt-action hunting rifle that the Liberals insist we can keep because George Washington fought against venison wearing red coats and bleating with a British accent.

I am willing to bet the scope is easy triple the amount of taxpayer’s money he is getting for one of the rifles. Dear God I have been looking a simple frigging red dots for AR and $200 barely cover a basic decent one. And you are gonna tell me you are not going to remove a full fledged scope and sell it but just let it be destroyed with the rifle for a measly $200? Bullshit!

I am willing to bet those rifles are back in the owner’s gun safe after they did their duty posing for photographs. Or maybe back to some department’s weapons’ locker or evidence storage room.

I have been wrong before, though.

After the Marjorie Stoneman Douglass shooting we found out some details about Nikolas Cruz, the shooter.

We fount out that the Broward County Sheriff’s Office received at least 39 Calls to Cruz’s address prior to the shooting.

The FBI failed to act on two separate tips about him.

The Florida Department of Children and Family Services investigated Cruz before the shooting.

The school failed to adequately discipline or report Cruz because of a diversionary program intended to keep minority kids out of the “School to Prison Pipeline.”

Now we find out this:

School counselors and a deputy wanted him institutionalized under Florida’s Baker Act, which would have made him a prohibited person, but that never happened either.

All of this evidence proves to me that the whole post-Parkland anti-gun, anti-NRA activism with CNN having David Hogg on every 15 minutes and the Woman’s March backing the Student Walkout last week and the upcoming “March for our Lives” march on the 24th is just a cover up.

It is a bunch of big government supporters engaging in misdirection to blame law abiding gun owners and the NRA for what is undeniably a massive, colossal, titanic, shit-storm fuck up by every government agency, Federal, State, and County, to deal with Nikolas Cruz before he killed anybody.

FBI Director James Comey was fired for mishandling the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation.   Apparently, the FBI Director decided to exonerate Hillary Clinton for any wrongdoing prior to completing the investigation.

According to the White House, Comey had “lost the confidence of FBI employees” for being a partisan hack without integrity.

The Democrats went monkey-shit over Comey’s firing, and Comey was rewarded for his dishonor with a multi million dollar book deal.

Almost a year later, Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe was for lying under oath about the Clinton investigation.

The firing of McCabe was recommended by the FBI Inspector General.

NBC News reporter, Andrea Mitchell, then made a suggestion to Democrats regarding how to save McCabe’s pension.

One suggestion from a McCabe supporter: if a friendly member of Congress hired him for a week he could possibly qualify for pension benefits by extending his service the extra days

I checked the label and it said “Tramontina” which is a brand of machetes from Brazil. It shows in a website as the Tramontina Bolo Machete at a grand total of $14 plus shipping.

This cheap Brazilian machete made it to the Great Britain through the customs controls it has established and still went through ended up in somebody’s hands who appears to had it lost and the cops found it.

I watch Forged on Fire and by now I am well than aware that decent quality blades can be forged with a car’s leaf spring. How many junkyards you figure there are in the British Isles?
