When I hate being right. Giving your DNA to strangers.

The Missus and I had talked about those DNA tests you see on TV like Ancestry dot com and 23 and Me and we were amazed that people who would normally raise hell and demand a court order so police can get their DNA, not only would willingly give it to a private company but actually pay for it. Our concern was “so what happens with those DNA markers? There is no way you can assure me they are just disposed of, I am sure they are in some database.”

Bingo!

Checking in Ancestry dot com, we find out that they have a page dedicated to Law Enforcement and basically they admit they can share the data if legalities are fulfilled. What are those legalities, who knows but I am damned sure is a much lower bar than trying to get a sample directly from your body.

It is a Brave New World, folks.

Rise of the Morlocks

My son loves all things mechanical.

I am convinced he is the second coming of Kelly Johnson.  He builds airplanes out of Legos and explains to me in great detail, for an almost-four-year-old, how “the turbines make it go super speed.”  His is meticulous about sided to side symmetry and I swear his models fit the Whitcomb area rule.

Beyond airplanes, he points out every part of my truck and tells me what it does.

He counts everything, although he has trouble once he gets into the 30’s, and has started to grasp addition.

I haven’t drilled this into him.  He has picked all this up on his own.

I glad we live in Huntsville, because if there is anyplace where his love of aerospace will be fostered, it will be here.

Then… I go on twitter and I see this and it scares the fuck out of me for the future of my son.

https://twitter.com/JessicaValenti/status/987403603953487872

It really doesn’t surprise me then that only 22% of NY 8th graders have proficiency in math, or that 32 NYC middle schools had less than 10% math proficiency and that under the progressive administration of Commissar de Blasio 4th graders saw a 7% drop in math proficiency.

Washing DC, likewise, only has 10% math proficiency for graduating seniors.

Half of Baltimore schools have 0% math proficiency.

I’m sure, however, that all these students know their 31 state recognized genders and the hierarchy of intersectionality.

It’s not important to know how to do math because math skills are racist.  What is important is knowing how to call out people who do have math skills for their white privilege.

In reading stuff like this I have come to the realization that in H.G. Wells’ The Time Machine, the Eloi are not the good guys and the Morlocks are not the bad guys.

Remember that in The Time Machine the Eloi have no idea how to use any of the technology that sustains them, they have no economy, and when they are in trouble they totally unable to help themselves (the other Eloi stood around and watched as Weena drowned).

The Morlocks took care of the Eloi, and in return, ate them.  The Eloi were human cattle.

These progressives like Jessica Valenti are happy to use twitter and Facebook and technology while systematically destroying the  educational system needed to produce people who know how to maintain and create technology.

They are like the Eloi, helpless and ignorant, only far less banal and docile.

They hate those of us know actually can do math and create and build and run machine tools and weld.  They call us knuckle-draggers and bigots.

We are the Morloks that take care of them while simultaneously are hated by them and seen as being nothing but ignorant monsters.

So when I read an article about how a biological woman who identifies as a lesbian is married to a trans-woman who is an intact biological male, and they want to have a baby but can’t figure out how to make that work, my inner Morlock says “these Eloi can’t even figure out how to breed on their own.”

At least as a Morlock I have a solid know-how to effectively use both a socket set and my dick.

If knowing more about Euclidean geometry or Newtonian calculus – created and named for hated white males – than the hodgepodge of gender issues makes me a monster, I’ll wear that with pride.

I am a Morlock.

Congressman endorses show trials

Ted Lieu is the Congressman from California’s 33rd district, which represents part of Los Angeles.

Lieu’s credentials would seem to be impeccable.  He is a graduate of Georgetown Law, was editor of the Georgetown Law Review, and is a Colonel in the Air Force Reserve JAG office.

Unfortunately, politics is a corrupting force and becoming Congressman has rotted his brain and turned his soul into absolute dog shit.

According to the news “Trump’s lawyer to plead Fifth Amendment in Daniels case.”  Why?  Because it’s his right to do so.  It’s also the smart thing to do.  When it doubt, plead the Fifth.

The text of the Fifth Amendment is:

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

What was Lieu’s response to this?

This is toeing the line of a Griffin error and is named for a SCOTUS case, Griffin v. California.  In a nutshell, a prosecutor cannot say “invoking the 5th Amendment right not to testify against yourself is evidence of guilt and the jury should convict.”

There is also a 4th Amendment equivalent – refusing to consent to a search is not probable cause for a search.

Well, when it comes to Trump, throwing the Constitution out the window it just another work day.  Why uphold Griffin when Trump is in office.

Ben Shapiro called Lieu out on this, to which Lieu doubled down in the worse possible way.

This is a Congressman and lawyer saying “if we can’t convict you, we’ll destroy your reputation.”  This is well outside the bounds of ethical behavior.

Lieu’s interpretation of the Constitution justifies show trials to ruin people.

The Democrat Part that Lieu represents isn’t about the law or the Constitution, it is about the total destruction of anybody on the other side.

This is frightening as hell coming from a sitting Congressman.

Ex-New York prosecutor found guilty in gun permit bribe case

NEW YORK (Reuters) – A New York City lawyer was found guilty in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday of bribing a police sergeant to help his clients get gun licenses.
John Chambers, who once worked as an assistant district attorney in Brooklyn, was convicted by a jury of bribery, conspiracy and fraud after a little more than three hours of deliberations, which began Monday afternoon.

Prosecutors said he paid bribes including cash, Broadway tickets, clothes and an $8,000 watch to David Villanueva, a former sergeant in the New York Police Department’s gun licensing division. In exchange, they said, Villanueva helped Chambers’ clients bypass the normal channels for getting gun licenses.
“John Chambers paid bribe after bribe to put guns in the hands of people who had no business having them,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul Monteleoni told jurors during his closing argument on Monday.

Villanueva was also charged, but pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors and testified against Chambers during the trial last week. He said he repeatedly used his power to help Chambers’ clients, including one whose license was reinstated after being suspended after a report of a “domestic incident.”
….

The case emerged from a broader investigation in which at least two others have pleaded guilty to paying bribes for gun licenses. Alex Lichtenstein, a member of a volunteer safety patrol in an Orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn, was sentenced to 32 months in prison last year, while another man, Frank Soohoo, has been cooperating with authorities, according to court records. A lawyer for Soohoo could not immediately be reached for comment.

That is four felons coming out of the shenanigans of NYPD’s License Division. Statistically, that is a rate of felons higher than the rate of people who had their concealed license permits revoked for any type of felony in Florida* and I may even dare to guess concealed license permit holders across the nation.

(* It stands at less than half of one percent of CWP revoked in Florida since its inception 30 years ago.)

Florida’s March for Our Lives: Not so Children’s Crusade after all.

The infamous March for Our Lives can no longer claim that it is a movement conceived and created by the young people of Florida High Schools.  We believed from the get go, (I mean what kid has not only the credit but the smarts to produce SUVs and Buses to take classmates to Tallahassee?) but more and more we are seeing that is an event tightly controlled by teachers who will not accept dissension or dispersion from the approved Gun Control narrative.

Here is the principal of Fleming Island High School in Clay County, Florida confiscating Gadsden flags that students had brought to counter the heavily Anti Gun activity of March 24 of this year.

But that is not the only school district where teachers were being the controllers of the March for Our Lives. In Marion County, School Superintendent, Dr Heidi Maier has been identified as the one organizing the county-wide March of Our Lives the same date.  It is being said that she gave orders to teachers to engage themselves in organizing “events”,  to create and distribute polls to be taken by students,  what they were supposed to talk about with the students during those “events” and even “convince them” to take the poll since this was supposed to be a student-driven initiative and the students may have been less than enthusiastic about more politics.

One of the questions asked by the teachers during the talks had to do about what the state and federal governments could do to avoid violence in schools, a not so disingenuous way to call for more Gun Control. At least in one school, Belleview High School, the first question had to do with instituting mental health checks as requisite to buy firearms.

We know that for a long time now, Mental Checks to buy firearms has been one of several lusted-after Unicorns of the Gun Control movement. Unfortunately for the Teacher’s Union and Dr. Meier, that question never made it to the top and the winners were both more resources to deal with kids with mental problems and hardening up schools so they stop being soft targets.

Now, the walkouts never happened in Marion County because the schools went into lockdown after a 17-year-old student wounded another in  Forest High School that day proving once again that Gun Free Zones did not work.

The result of that poll was supposed to be “sent to various leaders asking for their support.” What leaders or what support are they asking for was not clear.  I don’t even trust that they will even send the true results but a very doctored version of what their political masters want.  The Poll itself was not locked from outside interference. I made a screen cap of it and I actually took the poll yesterday…. yes, it is still up and running for anybody outside the school to access. Trustworthy, ain’t it?
I want to thank the individual who sent me the information about these political machinations within our Florida schools.  We have school personnel who is not happy about the indoctrination of the kids and out of fear of retaliation, they need to go outside their usual means to help stop the indoctrination of the young minds of Florida.

The MSD civil war

So David Hogg is running around the country throwing up the revolutionary power fist, saying the most vile things about lawful gun owners, staging boycotts against anyone who challenges him, and organizing rallies to take away law abiding citizens’ Constitutional rights.

Kyle Kashuv has been meeting with Congressmen, Senators, Governors, and people of importance to try and pass legislation that will help prevent school shootings.

Kyle seemingly is not a fan of big government and supports the Second Amendment.   Which makes sense for someone who’s life was risked when government failed to do thier jobs.

Kyle went to a range with his dad and was given instructions on how to shoot an AR-15 under supervision and in compliance with the law.

Because of his anti anti-gun opinion, a MSD teacher abused his authority to denounce Kyle in the strongest terms Progressives have.

The MDS Aryan hate monger and college reject who wants to economically destroy and jail people who disagree with hi isn’t a threat or the next Hitler.

The kid who respects your civil rights is.

That makes sense.
