Remember when we were told by Sheriff “85% of my deputies don’t trust me” Israel and Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie that Nikolas Cruz was not in the promise program.
Broward schools backtrack on gunman Nikolas Cruz’s Promise program connection
But it wasn’t a lie, lie. It was more of an oops lie.
Robert Runcie Blames Messy Records for Misinformation About Promise Program
Critics have slammed Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie all day amid news that — contrary to Runcie’s repeated claims — Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooter Nikolas Cruz was involved in the controversial Promise disciplinary program before becoming a mass killer. Now Runcie is pushing back by blaming scattered record-keeping and insisting he gave the best information he had at the time about Cruz’s participation in Promise.
The “best information he had at the time” defense. Just like the one Sheriff Israel used when he defended his chicken-shit deputies.
But I bet Runcie gave “amazing leadership” as Superintendent. It’s not his fault that Cruz went on a preventable murder spree. It was sloppy paperwork.
The next part of this script is him saying the negligence of his administration shouldn’t be punished, the shooting was the NRA’s fault.
Former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman was a progressive superhero.
He said all the right things about all the right causes. He was active in pushing the #MeToo movement. It seems that like so many other men in power, he thought that his woman’s issue virtue signaling bought him enough indulgences that he could be a woman abusing monster in private.
“It was at first as if he were testing me. Then it got stronger and harder. It wasn’t consensual. This wasn’t sexual playacting. This was abusive, demeaning, threatening behavior.”
She said that as the violence grew, so did his sexual demands.
“He was obsessed with having a threesome and said it was my job to find a woman,” Selvaratnam said. “He said he’d have nothing to look forward to if I didn’t and would hit me until I agreed.”
She said she had no intention of adding a second woman to their bed.
The abuse increased until Schneiderman was not only slapping her but spitting on her and choking her, she said.
“He was cutting off my ability to breathe,” she said.
Soon, “we could rarely have sex without him beating me.”
In classical Democrat fashion, he knew where his place was over people of color.
“Sometimes, he’d tell me to call him Master, and he’d slap me until I did,” Selvaratnam said.
“He started calling me his ‘brown slave’ and demanding that I repeat that I was ‘his property.’”
Of course, this couldn’t be because Schneiderman was a piece of shit. No. It’s because men.
Marisa Kabas is a director with an app called HOPE that helps short attention span millennials know where to direct their two minute hate at the appropriate times.
She gave men direction on how to behave after this.
it’s cool that you’re “horrified” and “my god!” and “disgusted,” but let us take the lead here.
AMPLIFY women’s thoughts/feelings. i know that might be foreign for some of you, but give it a try. don’t immediately jump to the election implications. just try for just a second to absorb what this is like for schneiderman’s victims and women who believed in him.
Actually, I am horrified and disgusted that a man this abusive could have been in a position of authority for so long without it being found out. Which makes me suspect that everyone of consequence in NY knew, just like they all knew about Weinstein, until Ronan Farrow blew the whole thing wide open.
I don’t believe that there are men secretly saying to each other “Man, did you hear what happened to Eric? Totally non-cool that he got busted. I don’t know how I’m going to keep my sex slaves under wraps if this kind of thing keeps happening.”
The overwhelming opinion among us normals is “he needs to spend the rest of his life in prison and the rest of eternity in hell.”
That’s because “the patriarchy” is not real. The only conspiracy here is among progressives, to keep one of their own in power because it’s more important that he fight Trump’s travel ban that it is that he not choke girlfriends nearly to death while raping them.
the ‘P’ word that made Schneiderman, like Weiner and Weinstein before him, possible is ‘progressive.’
He’ll present the group with a check for $15,000.
“We’ll present it during a special celebration at the restaurant on Mother’s Day at 3 pm,” Groves says. “I put a significant amount of personal money into it, but the rest came from patrons of the restaurant as well as people calling us from South America, Asia, from countries all around the world.”
I am sorry to say that the amount won’t be enough to pay for the armed security taking care of the event.
What I find funny about Mr. Groves is that although he does not like Gun People, he likes our money. I mean if he was such a stalwart for “common sense regulation” he would not allow people carrying into his establishment, right? Yet, he does not have a 30-06 sign posted at the door as required by Texas law.

Oh hell, screw him. He is just a funny anecdote for this year’s NRA Annual Meeting.
A top Bank of America executive pledged in April that the bank wouldn’t “finance military-style firearms for civilian use,” but the bank is still lending $43 million to gunmaker Remington Outdoor Company.
Virtue signaling gives you a nice warm feeling on the inside. It also empties your bank account. Not good when you are a bank.
I lost track of a Facebook post where a gentleman staying at a Hyatt hotel in Dallas (NRA AM) found a hotel manager and security going through his car after getting the keys from the valet. When confronted, the hotel reps said they had the right to go through the car because it was on their property. Hopefully I will get more info as the managers get fired and the hotel sued.
But that brings a point I am ashamed to say I never thought about before: Do not valet your car anywhere ever. It is not only what they can take away from you (as the case above) but also what they can leave behind.
How many times have you seen COPS where a vehicle is pulled over, searched, the officer finds something and the suspect denies it. Does the cop believe him? Nope. Do you think a cop would make an exception for you because you are pretty?
Let me put it this way: You are literally giving the keys of your car to a total stranger, who is paid minimum wage and tips, in the hope he will treat your precious vehicle better than you would.
Would you valet your carry gun? Then, why would you valet your car?
Kind reader John R. sent me the link and I will admit that I suck at statistics and overly complicated math stuff, but I can do some simple calculations. The gist of the article is that there are not as many gun owners as people think, that we are miniscule in the great arena of things USA. And they engage in mathematical explanations and the sort.
I just want to quote one little part: their official percentile count of gun owners.
In reality, only about 25 percent of Americans own a gun.
OK,, let’s say for the sake of the argument they are right and only 25% of Americans own guns. According to the Census Bureau, the us population is 325.7 million (2017.) That comes about 81,250,000 Americans with firepower. Let’s make it simpler: Eighty One Million Americans Own Guns.
The largest army in the world is the People’s Liberation Army of China with 2 million active personnel and 2.4 million in reserve. That makes us almost 40 times bigger than the whole Chinese Army. The Russians boast a million active and two and a half in reserves for 3.5 million. How about at home? US active and reserves barely top one million.
So, if we combine the Chinese, Russian and US armies, we get only 9 million which thanks to the hard work of the Washington Post, gives me confirmation that the 81 million Armed US Citizens is the biggest (and coolest) army in the world.
