I must say, Rabbi Meyers has handled all of this like a true mensch.

In the face out incredibly ugly politics, he welcomed the President with a statement of patriotism.  He served his congregants and the Jewish community with kindness.  When prodded by CNN he was honest about his experience with the President, showing nothing but dignity.

From the Rabbi’s words, it seems that the Rabbi was expecting “Candidate Trump” from TV but when he had the opportunity to meet with him with the cameras off, had a honest moment with the First Family and found out they were not the monsters that the #Resistance has made them out to be.

What the Rabbi didn’t seem to realize is that kind of true representation of Trump is not allowed.  Just ask the followers of CNN.

The Rabbi must be a stupid sucker who got conned by Trump.

Shame on the Rabbi for saying anything nice about the President who came to pay is respects to people killed in a horrible attack.

Of course, the only way the Rabbi would say anything nice about Trump is if he was already a Republican.  There is no way someone can come across the aisle in an act of unity and honoring the dead.  Why not suggest that the entire congregation is Republican, like that is such a dirty thing.

Sure, and add a little bit of the dual loyalty anti-Semitism in for flavor.  They are just pro-Trump because Israel.

Right…. because when I think of stalwart Republicans I think of Jews from Pennsylvania.

He has served he Congregation wonderfully during this impossibly difficult time.  Rather than get whipped into an anti-Frump frenzy, he was welcoming and pleasantly supersized by the President’s character.  For that infraction against the Left, he must have his life as a Rabbi destroyed.

There were many like this.  It’s amazing how many of the Left loved to praise the warmth of Hitler as a way of attacking Trump and the Rabbi.  This one though, the wording was just so egregious I though it needed to be pointed out.

Ultimately this is what it comes to, violence.

The Rabbi was shot at and he watched his congregants die for being Jews.  He had the audacity to say something nice about the President and the Left which as pouring out sympathy for him the day before now wants to hurt him.

There is a level of political engagement that turns a person into human garbage.

If you are so anti-Trump that your first reaction to a Rabbi that survived and anti-Semitic mass shooting, buried 11 of his congregants, met with President during the memorial, and didn’t use the media coverage of all of this to criticize Trump, is to attack him, insult him, and threaten him.  Your soul has filled with shit and you should reflect on that.

A simple and inexpensive device that you can carry will give somebody injured (even you) a chance of living six times greater than not having a tourniquet.  I want you to pay attention to the 77 minute time because it is important and an eye opener: An untreated mayor injury to an extremity main artery will kill your in as short a time as 4 to 5 minutes.  The wound that has killed and will kill bullfighters is a rupture of the femoral by a well place horn. Some bullfighters did not even make it to the first aid station inside the plaza, many barely managed to be placed inside the ambulance that took them to the hospital.

We are talking that a wound that can kill a human being under 10 minutes, can be successfully controlled and life extended long enough to take that person to a hospital for emergency life-saving surgery.

So this girl (I can call her woman) apparently an adult sees bad shit on TV and her first reaction is hopping on a plane to California and Daddy’s lap.  I can almost bet you she is into the Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement at college and making kissy kissy with Palestinian fans.

So she sees somebody in a MAGA hat in the plane (by now the whole story is starting to smell like week old fish inside an abandoned tire), has some sort of nervous attack and decides to write a missive to the hat wearer expressing why He Bad Support Orange Man.

It is time that American Jews stop being Over Fodder.

“Never again” is the basis for the State of Israel. It does not mean we will wait for a greater power to protect us but that  violence against Israel and its people will be met with even more violence so the Holocaust will not be repeated.

Time to apply the same in Temples and Synagogues across the U.S.

The reason why asshole racist Robert Bowers chose Temple of Life is because it looked like a nice fat soft target filled with the people he hated. If that is what they call Victim Blaming, so be it. If the Trump administration has an Achilles Heel or intellectual blind spot, is it Twitter.

Trump spent a long time as a reality TV star.  Not just The Apprentence but with the WWE and building the Trump Brand.

You can take the reality TV star away from reality TV but you can’t take the reality TV star attitude away from the reality TV star.  He tweets are like the attention grabbing clip from the end of an episode that makes you want to watch the next episode to see what happens next.

So when someone within the Trump Administration tweets something that causes a stir, I have to see what it is.

Seema Verma is the head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  She has a degree from Johns Hopkins in public health with a concentration in health policy and management.  She worked as a consultant helping companies navigate Obamacare.

How the the Medicare administrator mock Medicare!?!  What gall!?!

I have talked about the Iron Law of Bureaucracy before.

In any bureaucracy, the people devoted to the benefit of the bureaucracy itself always get in control and those dedicated to the goals the bureaucracy is supposed to accomplish have less and less influence, and sometimes are eliminated entirely.

A typical Washington bureaucrat administrator would fight for Medicare for all because it would give her more power, a bigger budget, and greater influence.

Her drive for Medicare for All would have nothing to do with providing healthcare for people and everything to do with the power and prestige that comes from managing such a huge government agency.

Anybody who knows about how much Medicare, the Indian Health Service, or the VA sucks at healthcare understand that goverment managed healthcare is awful.  the politicians who want it, want it because it gives them more authority over peoples’ lives.

On a side note, one of the people I admire most in DC is Secretary of Offense  Defense James Mattis.  Mattis isn’t a bureaucrat and seems mostly immune to the Iron Law of Bureaucracy.

Clearly Administrator Verma hates, or at least understands the shit-ass reality of, the program she runs.

I hope she is resentful as hell that she had to give up a lucrative consulting job to manage this goverment agency at goverment employee pay and she wants nothing more than to go back to the private sector and not deal with this God Damned bureaucrats.

That is the best inoculant against Iron-Law-of-Bureaucracy-itis I can think of.

She seems to have no desire to expand the program she is running and that is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen come out of a DC bureaucrat.

With limited exception, from now on I want every bureaucrat to hate the agency they are in charge of.

I want a ware fighter in charge of the DOD and an astronaut in charge of NASA.  People who are focused on the mission and not the bureaucracy.

Nothing will make America better than if the administrators hate the bureaucracy and act against the Iron Law.
