Yes, I have no doubt Ted Lieu would love to regulate speech.  He’s a California Democrat, there is very little he wouldn’t love to regulate.

After being called out for this, he sent out a Tweet that only doubled down.

I would love to regulate your speech, but thank goodness the First Amendment prevents me, @POTUS, and Republicans from doing so.

“I’m a tyrant but at least I know the Bill of Rights limits me” isn’t the kind of thing most Americans want to hear.

We are a nation founded on the principle “I do not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.”

It’s amazing to watch a US Congressman admit that he hates the guiding principles of this nation, and that he only allows free speech because the Constitution protects it.

You know he would undo the First Amendment at every chance he gets.

On the plus side, at least he was honest.

The new data, released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, shows that the gun death rate hit 12.2 per 100,000 people in 2017, up from 12 in 2016 and 10.3 in 1999 (the earliest year of data available). The gun suicide rate increased to 7.3 in 2017, from 7.1 in 2016, while the gun homicide rate remained flat at 4.5.

Guns killed more people than car crashes in 2017.

Suicides are not being addressed other than to pass Red Flag laws which are not really a help in this case.  We need to figure out how to help people who would need treatment without branding them as dangerous and treat them like shit. You cannot expect people in trouble to seek help if your default mode is “FUCK! He/She is dangerous! Quick, send cops to his/her house, break in (legally) take away their belongings and leave them there without even counseling them to see a therapist.”

I predict we will see cops wounded and killed because of this crap and same for the persons in need. And Brady and the rest will be there to tap dance on their blood and start a fundraiser.

Normally, The Federalist farting out some jaw-droppingly stupid false equivalence is just another weekday, but conservative gays using their sexuality as a means to defend their abhorrent views have become more and more common as queers win more widespread acceptance. (Some possibly relevant personal background: I identified as a gay male during my teen years, but now I’m probably more like trans female or genderqueer or something more fun like that.) Opportunities that would have been previously unavailable for out gays in fields like business or politics are opening up like never before, giving LGBT people newfound power to create change within the systems that previously oppressed them. But wealthy and mostly white gay men have all too often been afforded the choice not just to shed the “oppressed” label, but to become oppressors themselves. Their sexuality, then, becomes a tool used to help uphold the anti-feminist, white supremacist, wealth-favoring status quo, and they need to fucking stop.

Conservative Gays Need To Shut The Fuck Up

I had to read that paragraph three times and I still have problems trying to see the coherence among the sentences, but the message at the end is clear. We will tolerate no dissenters.

I will always find fascinating that the groups that publicize inclusion and open-mindness, will spew vitriol against anybody who differs from their dogma in the slightest. Minorities that do not dance to the tune they impose are possibly the worse of the pack and I would not be surprised that in the near future they will be told to die a fiery death. hell, I am told that just because I am a gun owner and my Hispanic/Latino origin gets conveniently ignored.

So, if the ovens open up once more, I would not be surprised to see that the ones trying to shove Jews and Gays into them are “enlightened” Jews and Gays from the Left. So don’t forget: Arm dissidents are conveniently ignored from the extermination lists.

Incoming New York attorney general plans wide-ranging investigations of Trump and family

Just-elected Letitia James, who takes office next month, tells NBC she will probe real estate deals, Trump Tower meeting, emoluments, Trump Foundation and more.

Emoluments?  Really?  To put that in perspective, if an employee of a foreign government buys a round of golf at Trump golf course, since Donald Trump profits off that in some tiny, tiny way, they argue that is a Constitutional violation.

New York Attorney Gen.-elect Letitia James says she plans to launch sweeping investigations into President Donald Trump, his family and “anyone” in his circle who may have violated the law once she settles into her new job next month.

“We will use every area of the law to investigate President Trump and his business transactions and that of his family as well,” James, a Democrat, told NBC News in her first extensive interview since she was elected last month.

James outlined some of the probes she intends to pursue with regard to the president, his businesses and his family members. They include:

• Any potential illegalities involving Trump’s real estate holdings in New York, highlighting a New York Times investigation published in October into the president’s finances.
• The June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian official.
• Examine government subsidies Trump received, which were also the subject of Times investigative work.
• Whether he is in violation of the emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution through his New York businesses.
• Continue to probe the Trump Foundation.

“We want to investigate anyone in his orbit who has, in fact, violated the law,” said James, who was endorsed by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Let’s be clear what this is, it is a vendetta against Trump.  This is a total abuse of the AG’s office and resources of the State of New York to attack anyone and everyone in Trump’s orbit.

This should scare the crap out of all Americans.

I’m not personally invested in Trump.  What this says is that New York is willing to hurt anybody who support him using every abuse of the law.

This is pure Soviet tactics.  They will get away with it because they are New York Democrats.

A college kid running for 13th Ward alderman gets a lesson in the Chicago Way

It’s overkill of epic proportions, like using a sledgehammer to kill a gnat, or firing off a nuclear weapon to kill a sparrow. A Southwest Side David vs. Goliath story.

The David is David Krupa, 19, a freshman at DePaul University who drives a forklift part time. He’s not a political powerhouse. He’s just a conservative Southwest Side teenager studying political science and economics who got it in his head to run for alderman in a race that pits him against the most powerful ward organization in Chicago.

To get on the ballot, Krupa was required to file 473 valid signatures of ward residents with the Chicago Board of Elections. Krupa filed 1,703 signatures.

An organized crew of political workers — or maybe just civic-minded individuals who care about reform — went door to door with official legal papers. They asked residents to sign an affadavit revoking their signature on Krupa’s petition.

More than 2,700 revocations were turned over to the elections board to cancel the signatures on Krupa’s petitions. Chicago Board of Elections officials had never seen such a massive pile of revocations.

“We turned in 1,703 signatures. We compared them to the 2,796 revocations, and found only 187 matches, meaning only 187 people who signed David’s petitions filed revocations,” Dorf said. “So, what about the 2,609 people who didn’t sign for David but who filed revocations? That’s fraud. That’s perjury. That’s felony.”

Guess what?  Nobody in Chicago is going to get sent to jail, fined, or punished in any way.

Dorf said that he will ask the elections board next week to refer the matter to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.

But Foxx, a Democrat, won’t want to anger the Boss.

Neither will incoming Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, who famously said he would not “go fishing” for corruption, and who also received a million dollars in Madigan political money.

And current Illinois Attorney General, Lisa Madigan, is the Boss’ daughter.

Does anybody think that the Democrats are going to hold the NY AG accountable for violating the Constitutional rights of people attacked for supporting Trump even peripherally?

The Left is so upset about Trump they are going to use the law to destroy anybody associated with him.  The Democrats are going to take this type of behavior national and this is will be the future of the Democrats.

They will start fishing expeditions against anyone who challenges their authority.  Anybody who supports the Republican candidate will be destroyed.

Woe be unto any businessman who thinks he can donate to the Republican, it will be the end of his business, driven into bankruptcy in legal fees by an AG with unlimited resources not looking for a crime, just using the office to get revenge on political opponents.

Joshua Trump would rather be called Joshua Berto.

The 11-year-old Delaware boy has informed his school that he’s going to use his father’s surname after using his mother’s led to constant bullying, Megan Trump told ABC Philadelphia station WPVI.

“They curse at him, they call him an idiot, they call him stupid,” she told WPVI.

Megan, who isn’t related to the president, said that her son has been getting bullied ever since Donald Trump first began campaigning.

“I pulled him out of school and home-schooled him for a year,” said Bobby Berto, Joshua’s father.

We are told constantly how in Trump’s America, his rhetoric is making the bulling of minority and LGBT people worse.

The evidence for this is sparse.

But when some innocent boy, unrelated to the President, just so happens to also have the name Trump, he is bullied so hard that he has to leave school and the school does nothing about it.

I can just about guarantee that the kids bullying poor Joshua here are doing it because they hear insane anti-Trump rhetoric at home from their parents, and the teachers are so filled with anti-Trump rage that they look the other way.

Such tolerance from the people in Delaware, but they are the good guys because they hate Trump’s bigotry.
