Kid amazed at Mozart expresses his opinion. (UPDATED)

One things I was lucky to learn early in life was that no matter how good your home sound system could be, nothing beats real life. I was raised watching WWII movies with many Big Band songs in it, but I was floored when I heard the Doc Severinsen band in Knoxville decades ago playing some of those old tunes. Same for Blues in those little bars across the South and even Classical music back in Aula Magna in Venezuela.

One kid seemed to have had the same experience during a concert in Boston and expressed it succinctly.

Kid, I know the feeling.

Update: Scrappycow points out in the comments that the kids was found. The healing power of music.

Diluting the meaning of School Shooting to make headlines.

Since there is no single definition for what qualifies as a school shooting, CNN set the following parameters:

-The shooting must involve at least one person being shot (not including the shooter).
-The shooting must occur on school property, which includes but is not limited to, buildings, athletic fields, parking lots, stadiums and buses.
-We included accidental discharge of a firearm as long as the first two parameters are met, except in instances where the sole shooter is law enforcement or a security officer.
-We included injuries sustained from BB guns, since the Consumer Product Safety Commission has identified them as potentially lethal.

There have been 15 school shootings in US so far this year

We went from the Massacre at Columbine to somebody popping a BB or somebody hitting a school bus passing by miles away from the school. The need to keep the drum beating has reached absurd levels of insincere editorializing.  This is not intended to bring awareness nor to find real solutions to school violence but to simply push a Gun Control agenda and their motto seems to be: “Truth be dammed till we win and then some.”

Eight Minutes.

Last night I heard four shots not so nearby as to go hot, but close enough for me to call 911 at 11:14 pm. Gave them my address for reference because I know they hate vague descriptions. Arrival time was 11:22 pm.

Eight minutes.

I know that since I did not declared I heard/saw people bleeding/screaming, it is not as urgent as SHTF call. So let’s make best case scenario 4 minutes and worst case 8 minutes. Either way is a long frigging time you have to be on your own helpless.

Once again, you are your own First Responder.

PS: Some of my friends in Facebook are amazed at how fat the response time was.

Damn.

The body is barely cold but Moms Demand is dancing around it.

Just 2 days ago, a Gay Liberal and a female minor in transition to whatever she is transitioning to, entered the  STEM School Highlands Ranch, a charter school located in Douglas County, Colorado where they proceed to start shooting students. They were attacked and overpowered by other students but unfortunately one of them, Kendricks Castillo, became the only mortal victim.

A “memorial” service was held at the gym of the school last night. I use the quotation marks because it quickly evolved into a political Anti Gun tirade. First were Senator Michael Bennet and Representative Jason Crow, but then and displaying the colors was Laura Reeves, volunteer with Moms Demand.

These were kids to came to grieve for their fallen friend who gave his life defending them and they are forced to endure the vultures of Gun Control peddling their bloody message.

It was reported that students got upset with all the political puppetry and many walked out of the event.

Our enemies are vile scum.

Sun Sentinel whines against Anti-Semitism Bill passed by the Florida Legislature.

Everybody knows Florida is a hot bed for Neo Nazis and Jew Haters, right? So how come the Sun Sentinel is defending them? They need victims for sales an clickbait!

In the meantime in New York City yesterday:

But we should be more like New York, right? Playing Knock Out A Jew for shits and giggles.

Dear Anaheim PD: Life is not an IPSC match.

Three slide locks, four magazine changes. One cop.

76 rounds shot between both officers, nine hit the suspect, that is an 11% hit ratio.  One of the officer was fired (a rookie) and the other is still suspended. I couldn’t find who was who.

If this was an IPSC Match, I figure he’d been DQed 5 times and escorted out the range.

It is now a race to the top of BS Mountain.

Dear reader Miss Eff brought to my attention a couple of tweets regarding the funding (allegedly) of the Volunteer Armed Teachers in Florida. I added the third one and still waiting for no answer or something along the lines of “Look it up yourself!”

Now, I am doing a bit of misdirection myself. I do not think the budget has reached the printing office yet or even left the legislature because it has not have been read by Governor DeSantis who needs to go with his pen and sign it.

But forget that and think that this has been the most contentious bill discussed in the Florida Legislature this season.  Specially anything that had to do with arming the teachers was analyzed by 17 Democrat senators and 46 Democrat Representatives; a grand total of 63 elected Democrats and their staffs in a 2 month period never found or mention once the appropriation of $70 million for guns to be bought. But some activist from Detroit figures we will take his word and accept his statement.

And of course, an idiot from NYC need to push the manure car even higher.

If Twitter guano would actually fertilize the soil, we would get the Sahara desert fully green in less than five years.
