PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) – A Portland Bike Theft Task Force officer had his own bicycle stolen.

Officer Dave Sanders is the first to acknowledge the irony. He has been working for years to prevent bike thefts across Portland, but on Thursday, someone took his bike parked in front of the Multnomah County Courthouse.

Sanders said he was running late for grand jury and left his U-lock at the office, so he secured his police bike to the rack with a pair of handcuffs.

When he came back out, the bike was gone and the cuffs were left dangling from the rack.

You have to figure that if PD sucks at gun safety, securing other less lethal devices is not going to have a great track record.

Sanders said only one in 10 stolen bikes are recovered in Portland, but having it registered doubles those chances.

On this one I am going to say it is average pretty much everywhere in the Nation. And 10% seems generous IMHO. On my last Security job, I found out how bad bike theft is in reality. They are not that hard to steal and provide you with a cheap means of transportation if your finances are in the gutter. They do not make noise so attention is not called upon you and even the toughest of cops cannot waste a whole shift going after bikes because the riders are not following the law. And I forgot: parts are not necessarily cheap, so you have ” free” cannibalization.  I wonder how many bicycles , whole and in part, are at the bottom of the many South Florida bodies of water.

Apparently it called for reinforcements.

I think this Tweet makes even less sense than David Hogg’s Tweet about non-binary LGBTQ indigenous women gun control activists.

There is a reason for that, Hogg only learned his bullshit at Harvard.

Econ Marshall here learned his bullshit at the University of Oxford, the finest academic institution on the planet.

This is really nothing but paranoid antisemitism, but given that it comes from a professor, it’s given the patina of respectability and not the lunatic ravings of someone who if you replaced the Leftist boogieman of “white supremacy and fascist” with “black” could easily pass for a Neo-Nazi.

I think the lesson we are learning is the more prestigious the eduction, the less their opinions are based on facts and the more their opinion are based on prejudice and hypoxia due to having their heads up their own asses.

I long for the day when someone with a degree from an elite university stands up and says something and the rest of society says in unison “sit down and shut up, you fucking ignorant moron.”

The world will be a far better day when that happens.

This is a tweet for for the founders of the gun violence prevention movement started centuries ago by almost entirely black, brown and indigenous lgbtq women and non binary people that never got on the news or in most history books.

Clearly, this doesn’t come from the mind of a rational person who knows anything about US history.

The first and most obvious question is if those “entirely black, brown and indigenous lgbtq women and non binary people” that pushed gun control “never got on the news or in most history books” then how does he know about them?  But that is only one of his glaring errors.

Native Americas were prohibited from owning guns on reservations.  The Wounded Knee Massacre was the result of the US Army being sent to disarm the Sioux people.

Likewise, black slaves were prohibited from owning guns and the South after emancipation did it’s very best to disarm free blacks.

I’m also not sure what non-binary and LGBTQ black, brown, and indigenous communities he thinks existed centuries ago, but having lived in the heart of Indian Country in South Dakota, I never saw any sort of history chronicling the Native American Tenderloin District in Pre-Columbian North America.

This is little more than an ignorant bouillabaisse of Woke Social Justice jargon in a gun control broth.

Why would he Tweet such crap?

Because he had to.

Hogg’s previous Tweet was a little too White Knight for the internet.

White Savior is exactly what David Hogg is.

And White Fragility is a bullshit concept that demeans white people who are not racist and did not oppress anybody not wanting to be lectured at about how they are bad because they are the unwitting beneficiaries of white privilege and complicit in an inherently racist system.

It’s a Kafka Trap, where you are guilty of being a fragile white person if you are unwilling to subjugate yourself to your own browbeating and plead guilty of whatever racism you are accused of.

But Hogg got called out for being a White Savior in his anti-White Savior Tweet, so he had to make amends.  Hence some gobbledygook that gives credit to the intersectional dream team.

Really?  I guess it’s that secret history of gun violence prevention knowledge at Harvard that isn’t published anywhere else.  Remember that it is impossible to flunk out of an Ivy League college.  No Ivy League would admit that they admitted a kid who couldn’t hack it.

So the reality is Hogg isn’t there to learn shit.  He isn’t supposed to, he was a political admission, to reward a kid who pushes the correct talking points and attacks the Right.

He doesn’t need to be factually accurate on anything.  He just needs to know how to play the youth activist Woke game and he will be rewarded for it mightly.

This tweet makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If there was a group of people that were into the “Gun Violence prevention movement” were precisely Whites like him that staring in Colonial times made sure  Black, Brown and others had no access to firearms lest they get uppity and defend themselves and their rights.

And after looking at his latest image, I do believe an intervention may be needed.

I had a shower head that I bought years ago.  I loved it so much that I moved it across the country with me four times through five homes.

It was a Moen handheld shower head that predated the last of the EPA water flow rate regulations.

It finally died over the weekend.  I amount of epoxy could fix it, I tried.

So I bought a new one.  Same model, just that it conforms to the EPA regulations.

Thanks Obama, it pisses on my head and tells me that its a shower massage.

I fixed it with a needle nose plier and a DeWalt drill.  I don’t know what the current flow rate is, but it makes me happy.

I also opened up my water heater and cranked it to max temp.  Don’t try using just the hot water in my house.  We live dangerously here.

I’m an American, I don’t want anybody to tell me what the flow rate of my shower should be, how many rounds my magazine can hold, and what my miles per gallon of my truck or sports car must be.  The only limit should be what I can afford.

If I want to shower with a fire hose, pass everything on the road but a gas station, and CCW a SAW, that’s my business.

And even though I don’t vape, if want to inhale aerosolized nicotine that tastes like a bowl of fruit loops too, that’s also none of the government’s business either.

Stop putting limits on what I as an American can have.

An EPA mandated lukewarm stream of piss is not a luxurious hot shower.
