Nah, bring it into the voting booth. Kind of a “anybody but (insert name here)”
I usually look up my ballot on our Secretary of State webpage about a week before. They usually have a link to the candidate’s web page. Any candidate without a webpage link, or a link to a facebook or insta-gram page is so disorganized they will never, never get elected. This makes it easier in a large primary field.
Then I go to their candidate page. Key words to avoid: Progressive, Social Anything, Liberal, Diverse, Anything Justice, and of course, Democrat. Finally, see if the NRA or your state gun lobby have made any recommendations.
Also, vote against anyone unopposed, or any incumbent judge. Vote for the challenger or Check the write in box, and fill in a random name like a sportsball star. Don’t make them think they have it easy.
Just wait until they start doing card check on your ballots to make sure you filled it out the way the sign says.
