He is upset but not foam-spewing angry. I understand. But his tweet gives us the answer:

“He was pressured into signing one.”

Yes, he was pressured but he did not have to sign. He is now tagged in the halls of D.C. as somebody who can be “persuaded” into following Bloomberg’s orders.

Or do you really see Scott standing firm if he gets threatened with a Kavanaugh-Style lynching?  Take a moment and think about it.

  1. I understand you reasoning but I don’t agree with it. I would rather have someone who “might” let me down in the Senate instead of someone I KNOW will do everything in his power to take me, and all I believe in, down. But I live in Connecticut so I KNOW every. single. one. of my “representatives” are hard a work trying to take me down and I have no chance of getting them out of office so I count on the red/purple state representatives to help me out.

Your choice. I don’t have one.

  2. YEAH! Vote against the guy that MIGHT not vote your way and for a guy you know 100% will vote against you. That makes sense. Somewhere. Not in this universe. Not when the piece of shit socialist will be around for 6 more years. I guess you voted for Hitlery since that would show the RINO’s who was really “boss”.

  3. I personally think the time to have these fights is in the primaries, and we should vote for the least bad candidate in the general. Scott would vote for Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. Bill Nelson never will.

I do understand Miguel’s point. An honest enemy in front of you is often better than a lying piece of crap that stabs you in the back when you least expect it. Look at Arizona for your examples.

That said, What are you doing to defeat your state senate GOP Establishment hack that took Bloomberg’s thirty pieces? Pick a traitor, and punish him. End his career. That is a lesson for the others. We tried love, maybe it is time again for fear. Fear of career failure. Fear of ostracism.

    1. As long as the Republicans know that gun owners will vote for Republicans even if the Republicans screw them, then there is no downside to screwing gun owners.
I am not voting for Scott. Maybe they will learn not to take gun owners for granted.

  4. I can’t vote for or against Scott, I don’t live in Florida. I’m ensconced in a deep red portion of a deep red state. However, we got screwed in the last state legislative session by republicans that passed a watered down “Stand your Ground” bill that leaves the burden of proof of SYG on the individual, not the prosecutor. So yeah, I get the “vote out the lying RINO SOBs” meme even if it means a Dem gets to occupy the office for one more term.

As an aside, many of the traitors lost in the primaries earlier this year.
