I was contacted by Erika Soto Lamb who is the Communications Director for Everytown.org regarding this now infamous pic:

She stated the following:

I want to make sure you know that this is not our page or our image.  There are impostors who are cybersquatting on the FB page with our name — Facebook is working on this now because it is against their policies.

It also goes without saying that this is the case the “strategist and manager of social media” Kevin Call had nothing to do with it. I was tempted to ask Ms. Soto who was responsible for not securing the proper Facebook spaces, but I thought better to avoid the issue.

I am willing to give them a smidgen of the benefit of the doubt since it is not the first time and certainly not the last that stuff like this has happened and you may want to do the same but your mileage may vary and you make up your own mind.

UPDATE: And then there is this view of the whole thing brought to you by Days of Our Trailers.

  1. The fact it was one of the first things up after Bloomer’s lawyers harassed FB into removing the real page says this is another in a long string of gun control lies.

The fact they left it up w/o comment for days casts additional doubt.

  2. Interesting, given that all my “Images of the Antis” comes from paid gun lobbyist accounts, so both this image, and the .44 magnum one were gleaned directly from Jason “Baldr” Kilgore and Joan Peterson.

Even if these images are fake the gun banners are taking them seriously!

      1. I was browbeaten by my Leftist brother and his Stalinist wife to get on it so they could post brag pix of my nephew and abusive lies about Republicans, Conservatives, the US Constitution, nationalizing of health care and assorted other insults. If it weren’t for my cousin posting silly stuff and family history and my home town’s “Remember this business or that store?” I’d delete the whole thing. It’s worse than putting the porch light on at Halloween.
