The Voice of Condescending Unity Mandate either forgot to tell Chrysler/Jeep about his little DUI arrest or they chose to ignore it hoping it would stay buried. Either case, people did not take to a dude from New Jersey pretending to be a salt-of-the-earth cowboy fake-preaching to them. And then somebody got pissed and let the big fat bearcat out of the bag.

Ouchy.

  1. Can’t help but wonder if this was ‘a good excuse’ considering the pushback they’d already gotten over the ad!

  2. Except that he wasn’t drunk. He got stopped by fans and while sitting on his motorcycle they offered him a shot. He accepted and didn’t get off the bike before drinking it. He was observed by a LEO park ranger and charged.

His BAC was .04, so not above the legal limit. Did he break the law? Yes. Was he negligently driving drunk? No.

    1. Oh! I am sorry. I forgot he is one of the Special Ones that does not get to live under the same laws as the little people. Being a jester to the royalty has its privileges, right?
