Broward schools superintendent Robert Runcie arrested on perjury charge

Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie was arrested Wednesday morning on a charge of perjury in an official proceeding.

Runcie, 59, was taken into custody by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and is being held at the Broward County Main Jail.

Sources tell Local 10 News the arrest stems from a statewide grand jury investigation into problems with the school district’s construction bond program.

The grand jury is believed to be investigating accusations of corruption and payoffs within that program.

Yes, this feels a little like throwing Al Capone in prison for tax evasion but I don’t care.

If this ruins him it ruins him and few people deserve ruining more than him.

If your schadenböner last for more than hours think about Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton in a wet t-shirt contest.  That will fix it.

Damn you, J.Kb! The missus damns you, too! 😀

  2. Syphilis ruined Capone, if he diden’t go off the deep end going to jail would of only slowed him down.As his cell was converted to a luxurious study via bribes, i doubt he would of had any trouble running his empire from his cell like many drug dealers since then.
