Everytown, Reagan and John Hinckley Jr.

I always find fascinating how the Opposition twists the facts to mold them to their immediate needs. First, the first duty of a Secret Service agent in the presidential detail is not to engage in a gun battle with an assassin but to make sure the President survives such attack even if it means stepping in front of a bullet like Agent Tim McCarthy did.

But same as Handgun Control Inc (Brady Campaign today) they used Hinckley and Lennon’s killer Mark David Chapman to push for Waiting Times for gun purchases and background checks for firearms sales.

The kick then and now was that both Hinckley and Chapman (Lennon’s killer) would have passed the background checks without a hitch since neither was a felon, had been adjudicated mental incompetent or where known abusers of alcohol or drugs.

And, of course, a touch of class was added by a few:

It never changes….. good! It makes our job easier.

Because this is America!

I know you have seen this: XM42 Handheld Flame Thrower

Guys (and probably more than one Gal) foam at the mouth at the idea of a personal fire-delivery device. How do we know this? because we like to see stuff burn by our hands if we cannot shot it or blow it up.

And how do we know this? Because their IndieGoGo Fundraiser actually got double of what they were asking to start production. Actually so far they are 237% above with 29 days left on the calendar or in plain English over $94,000.

Mississippi: Permit-less Purse Carry Approved

The House on Friday passed one of the first House-Senate conference reports, or final agreements, filed this session. Senate Bill 2394, which originally only reduced fees for concealed carry permits, in its final version includes language to allow concealed carry of a gun in “a purse, bag, handbag, satchel or other similar bag or briefcase or fully enclosed case.”

The Senate is expected to approve the agreement and send it to the governor.

“Most ladies don’t want to carry a gun on their hip for the world to see,” said House Judiciary Chairman Andy Gipson, R-Braxton. “Men may, but ladies may not.”

Gov. Phil Bryant said he will “absolutely” sign the bill into law, and noted his wife, Deborah, might find it handy for carrying her Ruger .380.

“She’s a darned good shot,” Bryant said

There we go, a totally sexist bill. Whatever happened to Equal Rights? This is clearly and Anti-Male bill 😀

As silly as it may seem, it shows the importance of reading and knowing the process of how the laws of your state are made. And also shows that sometimes “good enough” is an advancement that should not be impeded by the silly demand of “Perfect.” Mississippi tried to get total permitless carry, but it did not congeal in this session, maybe for next year but still one step forward was taken and that cannot be dismissed.

No Compromise is just another way of saying “We don’t get shit done.”

You mean Colorado Politicians lied? Unimpossible!

If you listened to our opponents, there’s an epidemic of criminal trafficking going on right beneath our noses, and surely we just need to pass some “common sense” gun control laws to fix the problem. Three prosecutions in two years does not add up to a serious problem. Shouldn’t Coloradans question the motivation of the people who pushed this law as a solution to a crisis in the wake of such a low level of prosecution

The alleged win in Colorado by the Opposition is slowly turning into an anchor that keeps dragging them down.

They made their Pyrrhic bed, I hope they enjoy the nails.

Even some on our side play stupid games with the unsurprising results.

BOZEMAN — William Krisstofer Wolf of Bozeman is in jail in Billings on a federal firearms charge after buying a converted fully-automatic gun from an undercover FBI agent.

Federal authorities arrested Wolf, 52 years old, on Wednesday at a truck stop in Livingston after Wolf  paid an undercover agent $725 for a Saiga-12, fully-automatic shotgun with a shortened barrel. The court document states that Wolf was told that his “supplier” was a Class III dealer and had converted the firearm from semi-automatic to full-automatic.

As with any group, we are bound to get a share of individuals that are not the best and sometimes we will get the idiotically criminal.

Calling yourself a Gun Activist is a wee bit more than yell “NO COMPROMISE!” have diarrhea of the mouth and act tough on social media. It requires the judicious application of brain matter, specially when things look too good. Take the gun in question: A fully automatic, short-barreled Saiga shotgun which you are not allowed to own unless the proper federal paperwork is in order, if at all. I am assuming Mr. Wolf got arrested because he was not authorized to buy such firearm, nor he is a Class 3 dealer. You may not like the law, you may want to fight the law because it sucks and goes against the Second Amendment, but if you are willing to break it, get ready for the shaft to be impelled on your rear end. Or you can actually be smart and go the lobby/political way. I know, it is icky and long and you don’t get instant results, but you get results.

But what really chaffs me the most is that he did not see it coming. Short Barrel, Full auto Saiga Shotgun for $725? Really? It did not strike you as suspicious that it might have been a wee bit cheap? A quick check on Gunbroker is showing Semi Auto, full length barrel Saigas starting around $900! That is what the experts call “A frigging clue.”

As important as your proficiency with a gun, the proper care and feeding of your brain is important. READ for the love of God, and not just BS from a forum. Go to the source, consult the experts that have actually achieved something and not masturbated mentally about playing some video game IRL.
