The Lesson of January 6.

Peaceful protests do only work when addressed against a government that has morals or can be embarrassed.  Most of these people went to DC with the cleanest of intentions and they are now treated like they raped puppies and killed babies.

“She’d always talk about how great Gandhi was. I’d tell her the only reason Gandhi survived after his first protest was that he was dealing with the Brits. If Stalin had been running India, he’d of been dead in a second, his name forgotten.”
― William R. Forstchen, One Second After

Next time, prepare accordingly. Make sure that a violation of their Right to Peacefully Assemble comes with a heavy bill due on presentation.

Ammo found in the wild.

Today I dropped by the Outpost Armory and scored a box of this:

Made famous in certain book we all know and love, they are indeed short.

I tested them with the wife’s S&W 22A and unless you manually load each in the chamber, you don’t get to shoot them.  Loading them in the magazine is a pain in the ass and the cycling is unreliable at best and downright a headache normally. But when it goes bang, it is actually loud “pop” and I do believe it will put a hurt on small varmints if necessary.

Now I need a revolver to go with this. I was thinking a Ruger Wrangler Birdshead. A six shooter retailing at $279 does not seem such a bad deal.

Stuff I don’t get.

With the Middle Tennessee Snowpocalypse 2022 scheduled for tomorrow, the missus and I went to the local Wally World to get a very few staples that we usually run out at this time of the week. One of the items was 1% milk for MiL (we do the 2% since I started dieting) and it was my job to go get a gallon. When I go to the dairy section, there were 4 half gallons of 1% left at the back of the top rack , set way in the back. I had to use my cane to hook two and bring them to the cart. The rest of the shelves was devoid of any 1% of any brand.

That on itself is not weird yet. People was showing up and looking frustrated that no more 1% was available and some directed inquiries to the Wally World personnel that was wandering in the nearby aisles. That was weird, and only because there was almost a full complement of 2% milk and Whole milk in the rest of the refrigerated shelves of the dairy section.  If there is truly an emergency, you grab what you can, and I don’t really think you are going to dies for drinking 2% milk for a week. And is snow really gets bad, your diest is gonna suffer anyway ’cause you are going to be home razing over whatever sweets were left over from Christmas while binge-watching Joe Millionaire reruns.

New York is accelerating down the road to hell

Every state south of Virginia needs to put signs on the highway that read “No Vacancy for Woke New Yorkers.”

Manhattan DA to stop seeking prison sentences in slew of criminal cases

Manhattan’s new DA has ordered his prosecutors to stop seeking prison sentences for hordes of criminals and to downgrade felony charges in cases including armed robberies and drug dealing, according to a set of progressive policies made public Tuesday.

In his first memo to staff on Monday, Alvin Bragg said his office “will not seek a carceral sentence” except with homicides and a handful of other cases, including domestic violence felonies, some sex crimes and public corruption.

Assistant district attorneys must also now keep in mind the “impacts of incarceration,” including whether it really does increase public safety, potential future barriers to convicts involving housing and employment, the financial cost of prison and the racial disparities over who gets time, Bragg instructed.

Bragg’s memo also detailed the following instructions for prosecutors to reduce charges filed by cops in various cases:

Armed robbers who use guns or other deadly weapons to stick up stores and other businesses will be prosecuted only for petty larceny, a misdemeanor, provided no victims were seriously injured and there’s no “genuine risk of physical harm” to anyone. Armed robbery, a class B felony, would typically be punishable by a maximum of 25 years in prison, while petty larceny subjects offenders to up to 364 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Convicted criminals caught with weapons other than guns will have those felony charges downgraded to misdemeanors unless they’re also charged with more serious offenses. Criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony, is punishable by up to 7 years behind bars.

Burglars who steal from residential storage areas, parts of homes that aren’t “accessible to a living area” and businesses located in mixed-use buildings will be prosecuted for a low-level class D felony that only covers break-ins instead of for more serious crimes. Those more serious crimes, class B and class C felonies, would be punishable by up to 25 and up to 15 years in prison respectively.
Drug dealers believed to be “acting as a low-level agent of a seller” will be prosecuted only for misdemeanor possession. Also, suspected dealers will only be prosecuted on felony charges if they’re also accused of more serious crimes or are actually caught in the act of selling drugs. That felony would mean facing up to seven years behind bars.

So the Manhattan DA essentially legalized violent crime.

The results will be obvious.

I can only legitimate believe this is purposeful and malicious, although I don’t understand why.

What I do understand is that the people in Manhattan who can afford to leave will.

What they will not do is learn from this and will bring their voting habits to Southern states.

I don’t care what happens to people in New York City.

I only care that it be contained there and not allowed to escape.

This is the way

Someone in Palm Beach tells New Yorkers leave if ‘woke’

Someone had a warning for New Yorkers visiting former President Donald Trump’s new hometown — leave if you are “woke.”

Palm Beach police are investigating after someone placed fliers over the weekend on New York-licensed cars parked in the wealthy island reading, “If you are one of the those ‘woke’ people — leave Florida. You will be happier elsewhere, as will we.”

Remember that I just recently wrote a post about some fucking guy who had the Progressive audacity to leave San Francisco,  because it is a failed city, for Miami but say that Miami is worse.

This is what Red Southern states have to deal with.

I’m learning all about what New Yorkers are doing to North Carolina.

Telling those fuckers to stay out with flyers is probably the nicest way Southerners have dealt with carpetbaggers.

It’s was never about “saving lives,” it was about saving only certain lives

Two news stories came across my feed.

First:

Fentanyl overdoses become No. 1 cause of death among US adults, ages 18-45: ‘A national emergency’
More adults between 18 and 45 died of fentanyl overdoses in 2020 than COVID-19, motor vehicle accidents, cancer and suicide

Fentanyl overdoses have surged to the leading cause of death for adults between the ages of 18 and 45, according to an analysis of U.S. government data.

Between 2020 and 2021, nearly 79,000 people between 18 and 45 years old — 37,208 in 2020 and 41,587 in 2021 — died of fentanyl overdoses, the data analysis from opioid awareness organization Families Against Fentanyl shows.

Second:

‘An epidemic of mental health challenges’: Surgeon General Vivek Murthy says the COVID pandemic has triggered ‘alarming’ spike in child suicides

US Surgeon General Dr Vivek Murthy says he’s alarmed by the rise in suicides among young people and says COVID has caused a mental health crisis, as parents rail against school closures and continued mask mandates.

He continued: ‘You know, a decade before the pandemic, we saw a 40 per cent increase in a number of high school students who said they felt persistent feelings of hopelessness or sadness. We had increases in suicides among kids, to alarming levels.’

Expanding onto why youngsters are suffering mentally, Murthy touched on bereavement and being denied the chance to see friends during lockdowns and school closures.

He said: ‘Well, Dana, I’m so concerned about our children because there is an epidemic, if you will, of mental health challenges that they’ve been facing, and it’s partly because of the pandemic.

‘We’ve seen certainly that many children have lost loved ones during this pandemic, 140,000 kids lost to caregiver. We know that their lives have been turned upside down. They haven’t been able to see friends as often as they would. And that’s taken a toll.

COVID has grown in me a seething hatred of the Silent Generation.

These are the generation between the Greatest Generation and the Boomers, born just before or during WWII and too old to be drafted into Vietnam.

Biden, Pelosi, and Fauci, they are the Silent Generation.

They are also the age demographic most susceptible to COVID.

They are also the ones at the top of our geriatric government.

So they locked everything down to save themselves, damn those younger than themselves.

They have steadfastly refused to retire and pass the torch, hanging onto influence and affluence for far too long.

I swear, had the death rates of COVID been reversed, i.e., very dangerous to children and harmless to the elderly, not a single COVID restriction would have been pit in place.  Just memos from Fauci and Pelosi how tragic is it that children are dying by the thousands, but worse is crashing the economy of this nation.

The geriatrics in charge decided to save themselves by causing crippling pain to Generation X and younger.

Every single person over 65 in our government should be shoved out on an ice floe before they do any more damage to our children.

Why California is doomed.

(KTLA) – Investigators found no evidence that the California man who was found passed out in a car with hundreds of recall election ballots planned to participate in election fraud, police said Tuesday.

The man, 34-year-old Eduardo Mena, of Hawthorne, was arrested on Aug. 16, 2021 after he was spotted in a vehicle parked in the lot of a 7-Eleven convenience store.

Inside the car, police found about 300 ballots, a loaded firearm, methamphetamine, thousands of pieces of mail, multiple California drivers licenses and credit cards in other people’s names, authorities said.

He was indicted on charges of bank fraud, aggravated identity theft, possession of stolen mail and being a felon in possession of ammunition, according to police.

No evidence of election fraud by man found passed out with 300 recall ballots: police

I guess he is just a collector of ballots or planned to sell them in Ebay as souvenirs. I went looking in California Law and I did not see anything against you having on your person a shitload of ballots or even theft. I hope I am wrong, but I suspect I am dead on target.

Why would anybody vote in California? Your vote does not matter if a Meth-head is carrying around 300 ballots for reasons unknow, but you suspect it ain’t for toilet paper.
