Abbas said to veto Israeli vaccination station on Temple Mount
Doses were intended for thousands of Palestinian worshipers gathering for Friday prayers; Abbas said to refuse over concern about an Israeli show of authority in Al-Aqsa compound

Israeli officials reportedly sent a request last week to the Palestinian Authority and the Jerusalem Muslim Waqf asking that the Israeli government be allowed to open a coronavirus vaccination station in the Temple Mount area, but the request was rejected.

The station was meant to vaccinate mainly Palestinian worshipers visiting the area. The Waqf is a Jordan-affiliated religious authority that administers Muslim religious sites in Jerusalem, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound atop the Temple Mount in the Old City.

According to a report by the Kan public broadcaster (Hebrew) on Wednesday, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas opposed the idea since, he claimed, the act would give Israeli officialdom a presence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque area. 

The Israeli request came following the repeated publication of photos in which over 10,000 people can be seen praying in the mosque area each Friday, in disregard of COVID-19 protocols.

After Israel’s initial proposal was refused, a second was reportedly made: that the vaccines be administered by Arab Israeli paramedics and not by Jewish ones, and that they be dressed in clothes that bear no markings of Israeli medical establishments. That offer was also turned down, the report said.

The Palestinians hate the Israelis so much they are willing to turn down tens of thousands of free vaccines rather than let Israelis set one foot on the Temple Mount.

But you know that somehow, this is the fault of the JOOOOOOOOSSSS!!!  Because woke Jew-haters will never admit to the reality of the situation in Isreal and Palestine.

Anyone on the Left who still says that the Palestinians not getting vaccines from Israel is evidence of Apartheid or some other bullshit can promptly go fuck themselves with a power tool.

Me and the missus made it back safely and I am trying to recover as it was hotter that anticipated and I kinda come apart at the seams when a little Florida heat is applied on my old butt.

First: Once again our gratitude goes to Borepatch and the Queen of The World for hosting the band of rogues that showed up. They are members of a great gun range and the people running it were the nicest and most helpful you can find, totally opposite of the stories of self-important assholes we hear sometimes.

Divemedic gave us an amazing class on how to address bleeding wounds (As in “Oh crap, he is gonna die if I don’t do something now.”). Short and sweet which included the use of tourniquet and chest seal plus dispelling some old misconceptions and old techniques no longer in use. This was great stuff.

I wish I could cover some of what was going on on the rifle side, but I was too involved with El Presidente. I was not expecting so many people interested in shooting it. We did see one strange apparition for a few seconds, it was a dangerous mythical being, rarely captured in image but the Missus managed to  obtain it for future scientific reference: Spanish Moss Man!

I had not run shooters in forever and I had fun doing so…till it got too hot.  I think the part that (sadistically me) gave me a bit of a smile was seeing people realize their plans for shooting pistol may not have been as ready and as effective as they thought…and that was why I wanted to do this drill. As simple as it is compared to the many Tactical Ninja Drills out there, it covers just about everything: Speed, Accuracy, Reloads and the very much important  Equipment … or like some found out, equipment malfunctioning or not being appropriate.

I ran it simple: Total time was the score. Any hole in the black was good, any hole outside the black got a 5 second penalty (Harsh? You bet. Misses must hurt). People that got “Mikes” (me included) were not happy and I could see them realizing they need to do better which is the best result I could hope for. And even though I made it clear that this was not a competition among shooters, I am glad to report that Mrs. Divemedic beat her unbetter half and she was proudly strutting it. I ain’t arguing that one . LOL.

And I want to give very special thanks to Roger G for donating a knife used in a raffle to collect funds for this blog. That was something very nice and I feel humbled for his generosity.

We all agree that this blog shoot will be repeated. Tentatively again in November and also again February next year.   And be sure that barring an act of God, we will be back.

I did manage to sight a couple of rifles, but we simply ran out of time. And as you can see, long gun fun was achieved by others too.

Yeah, we remember.

The Branch Davidians were a bunch of crazies lead by an asshole.  I’m not defending them.

But the ATF decided to flex its muscles live on CNN to make Bill Clinton and Janet Reno look like tough and abused every rule crafted for the war on drugs to raid the Davidians’ compound like they were invading Iraq.

The result was 76 people including 25 children being burned to death as the news cameras rolled.

The Waco seige and Ruby Ridge the year before caused the Oklahoma City bombing and the rise of the anti-government militia movement of the 90s.

So with Biden threatening to take our guns, an ideological purge of the military,and armed troops and barbed wire in DC, maybe the ATF can just quietly let this one not be remembered.

Because right now it really looks like military, US government is gearing up to go Waco on the rest of America.
