Miguel beat me to posting the insane Tweet by Wajahat Ali, but he had a different take on it than I did, so I’m going to give you my thoughts as well.

You can't heal or reform the GOP who are now an extremist party. They have to be broken, burned down and rebuilt. When Biden is in power treat them like the active threats to democracy they are. If those who committed crimes aren't punished then they will be more emboldened.

Let’s take this Tweet apart.

You can’t heal or reform the GOP who are now an extremist party.

The Republicans are now irredeemably bad, reform is impossible.  Why?  Because we are extremists?

Objectively, by what standards?  Republicans are not out committing terrorist acts, killing people, or blowing things up in the name of Conservatism.

Even politically, within the legislature, what extremism is there?

The Democrats were the ones who impeached a sitting president for a fictitious crime using entirely fabricated evidence, in a show trial that looked like Kafka fan fiction.

If he is talking about the cult of personality around Trump.  Even Trump supporters at their most enthusiastic barely touch the level of sycophantic enthusiasm for Obama.  There were no serious hagiographic images of Trump like there were of Obama.  There were no school kids taught to sing Trump hymns in school like there were of Obama.

Trump never ran on a platform of “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.

I would say that calling the Republican party extremists is projection, but really this is creating a false narrative to justify what comes next.

I believe the part about broken and burned, I doubt he means the rebuilt part.  If he does, he means it the way Winston was rebuilt at the end of 1984, as totally subjected to the Democrats.

When Biden is in power treat them like the active threats to democracy they are.

We are a threat to democracy.  How?  We are making arguments that encourage people to vote for our side.  That is the essence of democracy.  We are not the ones engaging in ballot harvesting or other means of electoral fuckery.

Again, I would say that this is projection, but really this is creating a false narrative to justify what comes next.

If those who committed crimes aren’t punished then they will be more emboldened.

And there we have it.

Collective punishment.

The narrative has been established that we are unrelenting extremists who are a danger to civil society so we must be punished.  All of us.   Forever eliminated less we rise up to threaten them again.

This was what Stalin said about the Kulaks.  Hitler said similar things about the Jews.  Mao targeted Chinese who did not follow him with the accusation that they were a threat to society.

Group after group who were identified and scapegoated as the problem were exterminated by tyrants.

Ali isn’t alone in this.  Every Leftist who is saying that Republicans are some sort of extremist or aberration to police society are creating a narrative to justify the total subjugation of Republicans no different from the Kulaks, Jews, Tutsi, etc., for the good of the people.

I have seen this rhetoric before in both Russian and German.  It is no less dangerous in English.

Soon enough the image of the meek Republican being freely bashed by Antifa goons will be substituted by bloody black-hooded goons weeping inconsolably about the multitude of injuries received  by the mean right wing assholes. And if anybody from the other side complains, we just say we are playing with their rules plus some extras points of our own concoction.

The democrats and Liberals in general worked with 2 sets of rule and our side got the shitty ones because the GOP leadership wanted to be accepted as nice to the posh gatherings of DC. They did not wanted to be seen as mean (enter the compassionate conservative bullshit) so I believe it is time for them to fully embrace the other side and leave our party to the people who is tired of taking crap and want to return it instead.

Somebody is taking a shotgun, so I am bringing shells for that.

I know I am overdoing it and probably will not shoot as much as I am worried I am gonna shoot.

PS: I will be bringing a carbine in 9mm. If you want to shoot, please bring your commercial ammo as all I have is reloads and I don’t feel good with people taking chances with my rolled-up stuff. It is a reloader’s thing and one of the first lesson I was taught.

She also refused to and then mocked the idea of putting her pronouns in her Twitter bio.

According to the new rules, it is transphobic to not put your pronouns in your Twitter bio.  Just assuming that Gina Carano is a woman because she looks (fantasticly) like one is bigotry.

Disney is woke.  The mob has power in corporate America.

If the mob destroys the only good thing Star Wars has done since 1983, I think this is a worthy cause to test Ron DeSantis’ new mob defense law.

It’s justifiable homicide to protect The Mandalorian from the Woke Twitter hate mob.

To accept that a bunch of bureaucrats undermined the presidency because they didn’t like the man in office, and felt safe to admit that because they knew the incoming administration would protect them is to accept the end of our government and freedom.

If Trump really is a lame duck, he needs to spend his lame duck time purging the swamp in true Stalinist fashion.
