Rapper Tory Lanez charged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion

Los Angeles prosecutors on Thursday charged rapper Tory Lanez with shooting artist Megan Thee Stallion during an argument earlier this year.

Lanez is accused of shooting at Megan Thee Stallion’s feet, hitting her, after she left a SUV during a fight in the Hollywood Hills on July 12, according to a release.

He faces two felony charges — assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The complaint states Lanez “inflicted great bodily injury” on Megan Thee Stallion.

Megan Thee Stallion is the rapper to collaborated with Cardi B to make that song WAP (Wet Ass Pussy).

He should be charged with being a terrible shot.

The judge needs to sentence Lanez to 100 hours and range time to improve his accuracy for next time.

I never liked the sport and even less the attitudes of most of the players with the exception of Jordan. I read J. Kb’s post (Who has my undying thanks for taking care of the blog while I was away) and then in Legal Insurrection I find out their ratings tanked 68% in the finals in a time where people are stuck at home and hungry for anything on TV (and there is nothing other than streaming services)  I have to make the obvious comparisons to Colt and Remington.  Companies that had management fuck up by the numbers and starve a company during times of fat cows.

But even the dumb asses at streaming services can fuck up a good thing. Amazon’s The Boys is getting a good watching, but in their last episode, the two bad “guys” in the series are having a rally which sound scripted by the Biden Campaign attacking on illegal immigration.  If they continue that shit, they will lose me and I know they will lose many others because I am sick and tired of being preached around by assholes in political ivory towers.  The Boys get one more chance  next Friday and if they went woke, I guess I can always re-watch season one of Bosch.

With all the material, I forgot to say that I was given the test for the effing virus. I hated to be part of the statistics specially when it involves stabbing the inside of your eyeball through the nose.

Before anything else, I have to say that the medical personnel that took care of me in Big Hospital were 99% the nicest and most caring of people and I felt i had the best of care from them. With that being said, I need to bring something that has me wondering the amount of mistakes that are happening in hospitals everywhere because of the “precautions” against transmission of the Wuhan virus. One thing is to hear on the news all the procedures that hospitals took for the pandemic. The other thing is to actually go through them, live and uncensored.

The missus took me to the ER and she had already warned me that she would not be allowed in with me like in other times.  I walked in and announced to Reception Nurse I believe I was having a mild cardiac event.  You’d think this would ring a bell or two other than one question  (“what are you feeling?” ) and more in the realm of “OK, get you masked ass in here for initial diagnosis.” Nope, I was subjected to the new game in town: “Covid 20 questions or please follow this stupid protocol at the risk of your life.”  It was not until Clipboard Nurse had all the appropriate boxes marked, I was finally started to get the ER care you expect to get in possible heart cases.

And now comes the thing that really bothers me: the masks. I am guessing some medical personnel might have been in the “At-Risk” category, but wearing a chin diaper, a mask with those double filters and a Home Depot face shield at the same time makes your effing speech difficult to comprehend!

I ended up having to say I was hard of hearing to some of the people wearing these combos so they would speak louder, and mind you, some of them were Latinos who are supposed to be loud to begin with. One imaging doctor ended up telling his young assistant to tell me what was going to happen after me complaining I could not understand & the kid went to task making me smile under my own mask

Now I have to wonder how many dumb mistakes have been committed because the transmission went out garbled? Either Medical People to Medical people or Medical people to patient, you know some stuff did not made it through and possibly end up hurting or killing somebody. And as Gun People, you know damn well that Medical Malpractice deaths were horribly high prior to the pandemic. It will be interesting to know what will the numbers reflect next year.

I got a bunch of instructions and recommendations on the way out which I intend to read with care and review with my primary doctor soon. I already contacted him about what happened so he can access all the reports and you can bet your ass I will be reviewing everything with him just to be 100% sure.

And to end funny note: I obviously ate hospital food these past 2 days (I actually lost 4 pounds) and one of the prescriptions I got was for a laxative. Coincidence? I think not!

in my very IANAL opinion, almost anything used as a projectile that has the capability to break windows, also has the capability to produce death or grave bodily harm. And it could be a rock, a brick or a Molotov cocktail coming though the busted window. Do I need to wait for the flames in my living room to legally defend my family?

We are faced again with “what is the law in your State and what will your local DA will do”  if you are forced to used deadly force by the “mostly peaceful protectors.”

In some Jurisdictions, Jose Jamal Odinson can get away with this behavior with a slap on the wrist and a free picture while you end up in jail if you place the red dot on his chest without even pulling the trigger.

This is the most insidious form of Gun Control and its most effective.

Three weeks ago we covered the recovery of a cheap gun probably over half a century old  and today reader Roy K alerts me of another archeological find by the NYPD.

It is another Harrington and Richardson and I could not find the exact model. I want to say it is a 1905, but I am far from being an expert. Let me know in the comments if you can nail it down.

At least we have another gun that might be between 75 and 115 years old still roaming the streets of New York City. The Sullivan Act, premier Gun Control Gun Law and still active in New York City came out in 1,911 which demonstrates well over a century of gun control failure with hard evidence .
