We have a family rule. Never shoot up all your ammo at the range. I finally got my father to tell me the story that led to that rule.

I have 5 magazines per sidearm. Whenever I go to the range or shoot a match, the two reloads on my belt remain filled with what I call “The Good BBs” A.K.A. Defensive Ammo and placed in my range bag’s side pocket. That means only one mag gets emptied for shooting & practice if I need it. With revolver carry and being the speedloaders so cheap, there are always at least three ready with Good BBs for when I am done for the day.

Remember, an unloaded gun is just an expensive paperweight.

When I heard the news that the Senate had failed to pass a Universal Background Check, I was at a police seminar on the topic of active shooters…..

……..When a retired police chief on the panel announced that he’d just received a text that the UBC had failed to make it through the Senate, the police audience erupted into applause. So much for the idea that cops all want to restrict your gun ownership.

People’s Republic of Venezuela this week. The government sent out police and military to keep things “quiet” after Sunday’s election. Now, please remember that Venezuela is a Gun Control Paradise and its people have no way to defend themselves unless they are from the special kind of citizens connected to the revolution…or criminals….or both are the same.
Yes, the video starts with cops shooting at unarmed people and then the whole shit goes down the hill in a hurry.
Am I the only one that thought: “instead of a video camera, a nice rifle with red dot and see how many headshots can I score?”
