Several years running now, I guess I can call it a tradition now. The wife is adept to the traditional fare, but I was never into the imaginary monsters/killers. The real ones scare me enough to borrow.

Rabbi Jeffrey Meyers, the Rabbi of the Tree of Live Synagogue in Pittsburgh is a better man than most.

CNN host Alisyn Camerota is a piece of shit.

During an interview with Rabbi Myers, she tried to bait him into blaming Trump for the shooting, which he did not do.  She then asked him if he wanted Trump there, trying to bait him into an anti Trump statement.  What he said was beautiful.

“The president of the United States is always welcome, I’m a citizen. He’s my president. He is certainly welcome.”

That is the kind of statement I want an American Rabbi to say.

What happened next is both terrible and totally predicable.

His not meeting with Trump is because he is busy doing his duty to his congregation as a Rabbi, not animus.  Another reason he is a good man.

Rabbi Myers has no plan to meet with the couple, he said, because his attention will be on the family of Dr. Jerry Rabinowitz, one of his congregants whose funeral he is presiding over.

‘I have no plans at this time for any involvement. My attention will be the family. I have a funeral and I must tend to their needs. That’s where my attention will be,’ he said.

On Monday, he said: ‘It would be my honor to always meet a president of the United States.

His refusal to condemn Trump and his welcoming him to the Synagogue pissed off the Radical Left.

Survive an attack by a white supremacist.  Get sympathy from the Left.  Not get baited into an anti Trump tirade by a garbage human on CNN and suddenly the people giving you sympathy threaten your life.

The only good Jews to the Left are the useful idiots, and only as long as they remain useful.

This Rabbi refused to be a useful idiot to the #Resistance and how they are going to kill him.

Jews, you cannot win with the radicals.  They will always find a reason to hate you and want to kill you.

You only have two choices, pretend this isn’t the case and hope to die of old age before they murder you or prepare yourselves to fight back.

I spend yesterday sick in bed so this post was prepared before I slipped into a influenza induces coma.

During my hours of unconsciousness, Rabbi Meyers med with President Trump, the First Lady, and his daughter and son-in-law Jared.

There are some who have accused him of bringing Ivanka and Jared beards, but I for one think it was the right choice.  It is a mitzvah (blessing) for a Jew to visit the bereaved and to say the kaddish.  Having the Present’s children and arguably the two highest profile Jews in America right now go to that memorial is a blessing.

Rabbi Meyers welcomed the First Family and pushed back against the naysayers.

In contrast, the Democrat Mayor of Pittsburgh and Governor of Pennsylvania did not meet with Trump.  I guess for the Left, unity after a tragedy only goes so far.

Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is okay.  Haagen Dazs is better.  The best I’ve ever had is Graeter’s Ice Cream out of Ohio, but can be found across the mid west.  Seriously, Graeter’s chocolate chunks are huge pieces of candy bar.

I do love the story of Ben & Jerry’s.

I’ve covered it before, but in a nutshell, Ben and Jerry were two liberal dudes.  They had a modest salary running the company.  They always conveniently didn’t mention as owners they were worth millions in company shares, but they would brag about their low salaries.

When they decided to retire, they offered a low salary, without the benefit of stock ownership, for an incoming CEO.  The demands were too high and the salary to low for anybody qualified, so they ratcheted up the salary offer again and again, until they finally sold out to Unilever Brands because nobody wanted to run the Ben & Jerry’s corporation for less than the salary of owning a couple of Ben & Jerry’s franchise locations.

But Ben & Jerry still have some swing and are the face of the company because it would go against their Hippie Vermont facade to admit they are part of a multinational consumer products conglomerate.  You can’t rail against S.C. Johnson and Frito Lay and then be part of one of their biggest competitors.

Then again, when has a virtuous Lefty ever not turned out to be a miserable, greedy, hypocrite?  Stalin ate caviar while 20 million people starved.

Women’s March, how could we forget the Jew hating Women’s March that is organized by terrorist supporter Linda Sarsour, and convicted terrorist bomber Rasmea Odeh, and has supported cop killing domestic terrorist Assata Shakur.

It seems like what Ben & Jerry’s is resisting is the rule of law and common human decency.

Why a company founded by two Jews would support a group that supports anti-Israel terrorism would be beyond me, except that this is what radical Leftism as become.

What I really don’t understand is why the CEO of Unilever lets this happen.  Go woke, go broke.  All this is going to go is make everyone on the Right find a different brand of ice cream.  Alienating half the country as a customer base is generally a bad idea.

I haven’t bought Ben & Jerry’s in years and I refuse to eat it.

All I can say is spread the word.

Maybe when the value of the brand drops by half, Unilever will finally tell those old radical Hippies to please shut the fuck up.

I found the press release issued by the European Court of Human Rights and it makes for an interesting reading. Let me quote from it:

The applicant, E.S., is an Austrian national who was born in 1971 and lives in Vienna (Austria).
In October and November 2009, Mrs S. held two seminars entitled “Basic Information on Islam”, in which she discussed the marriage between the Prophet Muhammad and a six-year old girl, Aisha, which allegedly was consummated when she was nine. Inter alia, the applicant stated that Muhammad “liked to do it with children” and “… A 56-year-old and a six-year-old? … What do we call it, if it is not paedophilia?”.
On 15 February 2011 the Vienna Regional Criminal Court found that these statements implied that Muhammad had had paedophilic tendencies, and convicted Mrs S. for disparaging religious doctrines. She was ordered to pay a fine of 480 euros and the costs of the proceedings. Mrs S. appealed but the Vienna Court of Appeal upheld the decision in December 2011, confirming in
essence the lower court’s findings.

OK, so I see why theses statements may be insulting to a Muslim (accuracy is for another day’s discussion), but I detect a bit of a problem: If disparaging religious doctrines is a crime in Europe, how come we never hear about Muslims crapping on Christianity or Judaism being fined? They give you the answer further down the press release.

The Court found in conclusion that in the instant case the domestic courts carefully balanced the applicant’s right to freedom of expression with the rights of others to have their religious feelings protected, and to have religious peace preserved in Austrian society

Feelings are to be protected? It is an impossible task to do so as we well know that we are living in a society of the perpetually insulted and triggered. But the truly scary part is where it says “to have religious peace preserved.”

They are scared of Muslim riots and violence. European courts have officially surrendered the rights of the people to the threat of violence from a group. It is easier and cheaper to fine your ass and shut you down than have a destructive minority  respect the individual rights of the citizens.

This bowing to violence, this lack of moral strength to stand up to bullies is how Europe had two World Wars and assorted conflicts with millions upon millions of citizens killed in less than 100 years. And I do believe they are bound to have another one of those “parties.”

Doctor Who now broadcasts on Sunday nights.  That makes it impossible to sit down with the wife and watch it, so it sits on the DVR for a week until the subsequent Friday or Saturday night when we can put the kids to bed and stay up and watch a show together.  That means I’m always a week behind on Doctor Who.

We finally got around to watching episode number three, Rosa.  More accurately, we watched the first half of the episode before I got so pissed I shut it off, then read the plot summary on line.

First of all, The Doctor no longer has a companion, she has an entourage.  The Doctor has traveled with multiple companions before, but in those cases there was clearly The Companion and then The Companion’s significant other/sidekick, e.g., Rose and Mickey or Amy and Rory.

This is a full on entourage, and one clearly engineered by the BBC diversity and inclusion committee.  The Doctor is a white woman, then we have a young disabled unemployed black man, a young Pakistani Muslim woman cop, and an old retired white male bus driver.

The young black man has some sort of coordination disorder so he can’t ride a bike and every time he uses a ladder it’s a triumph.  He has a massive chip on his shoulder about it too.  The cop has talked about in at least two of the tree episodes we’ve watched, how discriminated against she is for being a Muslim woman of color.  I guess in the world of Doctor Who, the diversity initiatives mandated by the goverment don’t exist where the BBC, MPS, and other  goverment agencies go out of their way to hire and recruit anybody who isn’t white and British.

So episode three take The Doctor and her entourage to Montgomery, Alabama in 1955.  There is some time travel fuckery afoot and the TARDIS needs them to fix it.

Instantly every white person in Alabama is racist and not five minutes in the young black man is threatened with a lynching.  We meet Rosa Parks, who brings up Emmett Till in her first few lines of dialogue.

The restaurant they go to doesn’t serve blacks.  Not even segregated, it just doesn’t serve them.  Then Yaz, the Pakistani Muslim woman cop is called a Mexican and is treated as badly as the black guy.

Historically this makes no sense.  Jim Crow didn’t apply to Mexicans, and Mexican farm workers were known in the South.  That’s why Hot Tamales are established southern food.  Moreover, even if Alabamans didn’t know what Pakistan was, it having just gained its independence in 1947, they would have heard of India.  Worst case, she would have said “Indian” and they would have assumed she was Native American.

History wasn’t the point of this.  America is having a controversy over Illegal Immigration, the dogma of the Left is that any resistance to immigration of any kind is 100% racism and bigotry, and therefore lets throw anti Mexican bigotry into this story to make it relevant to today.

The party goes to a White’s Only motel where a racist cop is racist to The Doctor and the bus driver, while searching the room for the black man and “the Mexican girl.”  Then tells them all to get out because they are foreigners and not welcome.

As it turns out, there is a time traveler who is manipulating history to stop Rosa Parks from refusing to give up her seat to a white person and therefore stop the civil rights movement.  He can’t just kill Rosa Parks because … plot… and his motivation is he’s a racist white guy from the future.  That’s it.

Again, this makes no historical sense.  The Montgomery Bus Boycott was definitely an important historical event, but the civil rights movement was broad and that was just one of many events for it to coalesce around.  Had it not been that, something else would have happened.  The civil rights movement wouldn’t have fizzled out and Jim Crow still be the law of the land in 2018 has Rosa Parks not given up her seat.

Something something something, The Doctor and her entourage make sure history happens the way it is supposed to.

I made it as far as “the bad guy’s motivation is that he’s a racist that’s it” and gave up.

Sitting in my living room in Alabama in 2018, I really didn’t need to be beat over the fucking head with this.

Remember that all the way back when David Tennant was the Doctor and Martha was his companion, they went all over history and her being black didn’t matter.  Martha met Shakespeare and all he did was hit on her.

Jaunts through history were fun.  Now they are woke and full of bigotry.

Why did the BBC do it?  Because introspection is too hard. 

London is suffering from a epidemic of stabbings, acid throwing, and crime imported directly from the Third World shit-holes of the Muslim World.  Truck attack terrorism has caused the Brits to line every sidewalk with concrete barricades so that every major city looks like the LA freeway.  British culture is breaking down in London.

Jews all across Europe are being murdered and Synagogues are being fire bombed, mostly by Muslim immigrants.

The EU Court of Human Rights decided to uphold Sharia Law, and said that criticism of Muhammad is not protected free speech.

The EU is ignoring the pleas of white farmers in South Africa for a right of return to escape the epidemic of farm murders, while Sweden is refusing asylum to and deporting a white South African family that escaped to Sweden.

But the BBC can’t do anything about that.  So instead they have to remind the world that the American South was a hateful, bigoted place and we have to experience that first hand through The Doctor.

It’s woke bullshit and I don’t need to see it.

If The Doctor really wanted to save some lives, why not go back 1,600 years and convince Muhammad not to be a violent Jew murdering, child raping, fucking asshole.  That won’t fit with the show’s new woke status though.

The BBC has decided to destroy this franchise with PC horse shit.  At least the older episodes are still available on Amazon Prime (for now).
