This guy is not pro-gun.  He’s pro-ignorant internet opinion.

People who know literally fucking nothing about the guns they want to regulate out of existence are the loudest voices wanting to regulate guns out of existence.

  1. I am an 07 manufacturer FFL. Ya its “easy” to modify an AR for higher rates of fire….4 hours of milling and a full auto fire control group(which if you are not an 07 FFL with an SOT, can land you in fed pen) and a full auto bolt group… “Im pro gun BUT I dont think YOU need an AR….spoken like a true pro gun guy.
Gawd Im ssoo tired of these idjits.. crawl back to mommys basement an shut up.

    1. You’re completely wrong… The Ruger has a feature absent on the AR, which only needs a simple shoelace to convert it to full auto.

There’s even a shoelace with a serial number somewhere registered as a machine gun. Every Ruger owner was in peril of two counts of constructive possession every time they wore footwear other than slip-on or velcro until the ATF reversed this determination.

  2. The last time an a-hole in our synagogue started going off about evil AR15s, I pulled the following from a pocket: a .223 ball round, a .30-06 ball round, and a bottle opener made from a .50 round. I then pointed out which round was used in an AR15/M16, which was used in the rifles issued in WWI and WW2 (and is similar in size to common hunting rounds), and called him on his pure bs and lack of knowledge about which more more “deadly.”

He hasn’t spouted off about AR15s at the synagogue since then, as far as I know….

I am more impressed you carry all three of those on you.

  3. It was deliberate, for the occasion. After some prior exchanges with that congregant, I tried to have them with me for the next time the opportunity presented itself. I don’t carry them all the time, but I’ve “happened” to have them a few times when I’ve anticipated particular a-holes feeling moved to expound on the subject. I’ve also pointed out that no modern military issues a semi-automatic rifle to its infantry, and have also mentioned that the most common military rifle in the world (the AK47) uses a cartridge closer in size to the .30-06 or .308 than the .223/.556.

To engineers and boy scouts, preparation is everything…

  4. On my blog, I describe a conversation with **AN ATTORNEY**, who went on and on about “the gun show loophole”, knowing full freaking well that TDW-Mark II had just bought a rifle at a gunshot, not 3 weeks previously. Because she had told him so.

Did not even slow his arrogant, ignorant, ass down for a second, as he proceeded to lecture MY WIFE how “the gun show loophole” works.

Arranging, as well as stupid. Very efficient.

  5. You read the comments, it becomes clear that his actual point is that ALL semi auto rifles should be banned. Someone points out that the AR and Mini-14 are semi-auto only, and he “rebuts” them by pointing out that until recently, the military version used 3 round burst instead of full auto (now reverted), and most of the time the military sticks with semi-auto fire. So therefore, it’s still an assuault rifle, and ANY rifle that can fire semi auto is a “military grade weapon” that should be prohibited.
But clearly a moron: “one of them can be easily modified to have a higher capacity and full auto fire”. No, they BOTH come with 20 or 30 round mags standard. Either one can accept higher capacity mags without any sort of “modification”, and neither can be “easily” converted to full auto. Obviously hasn’t got a clue.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
