But I am starting to smell foul play about these “posts.” The language used is maximized to elicit rage against Gun Owners and more pity for Joan Peterson. Now, we already have discovered anti-gun people posting in forums/blogs and comment sections of On Line Media as NRA members supporting a variety of Gun Control laws, sort of Lone Wolf-AHSA trying to muddy the waters. So I am not altogether convinced that this guy is a gun activist but an agent provocateur much like (Donna Fisher AKA @ Twitter clayfisher) who was roaming the NRA convention looking for trouble.

Oh well, irrelevancy is not supposed to go quietly I guess.

  1. Noticed that they aren’t sharing IP addresses, screen caps or anything else that would verify their story.

When I was threatened with physical violence for disagreeing with the wife of the anti the screen caps where publicly shared.

The IP address was verified and the personal information established and verified as accurate before — note that, BEFORE the information was released.

Hmm, the attacks at Joan’s place don’t pass the sniff test yet.

  2. When you consider that Peterson has serious mental health issues (i.e., she’s a complete loon), and that most hoplophobes have no ethical problems with lying and twisting facts, I wouldn’t be surprised if you are correct. I’ve seen too many fake “gun rights activists” who were actually shills working for the Brady Bunch.

  3. Bob, it has to be pathological. The level of self denial is too great just to be a “cause.”
Think of it as refusing to being vaccinated during an epidemic because the vaccine itself is made from the microorganism causing the epidemic and then demanding that the vaccination be stopped.

  4. Considering that the key underpinning of their shtick is victimhood why would anyone be surprised they would lie to up their “victim street cred”?

  5. Yeah, I am not buying it either. Comments like that would be far too easy to fabricate, post, blame on us, and then delete, all internal to the anti-rights nuts.

Show me some IPs that correlate to known pro-rights commenters, and I will care.
