Sen. Joe Negron’s bill restricts using drones to preventing imminent danger to life or serious damage to property.

The bill also makes police get a search warrant before using a drone to collect evidence. An exception would be a credible threat of terrorist attack

Drone season will be open as soon as the Governor signs the bill. OK, maybe not, but it is a good first step. Here is the text of the bill.

  1. “An exception would be a credible threat of terrorist attack.”

Aaaaaand every crime under the sun will be categorized under “terrorist attack”.
Exaggeration aside, they *will* whip out the terrorist attack card to justify the use of drones in whatever situation they damn well please.

      1. Not true, with the NDAA all they need is to suspect you of terrorism, they need to evidence and no trial to issue a kill order.
